I dont know if this will happen or not but I would LOVE to see a set for Pirates of the Carribean 2 (which I think may be released this year)....Actually I would have loved a set from the first movie as well.....Unless there was one and I missed it???

Anyway, that is what I would love to see POTC 2 and plus the Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire set (hopefully with better card distribution per box than the last set!!)  Grin

After all the fuss in 2004 I'm not sure I could cope with another Harry Potter set - the old wallet certainly couldn't  Grin

Lot's of good films in 2005 though -

Batman Begins (Christian Bale, Liam Neeson)
Magic Roundabout (Kylie, Robbie, Sir Ian, Joanna Lumley and Jim Broadbent doing the voices - brings back childhood memories, sat on Mum's knee at 5.35 every night).  How about a dual Kylie and Robbie signed card?
War Of The Worlds (the Cruiser and Spielberg - not sure remaking this is such a good idea but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt)
Willy Wonka (Johhny Depp, Christopher Lee)
Episode 3 (PLEASE BE GOOD, PLEASE BE GOOD, PLEASE BLOW ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And give me some B****y autographs!!!!!!!)
Robots (Ewan Macgregor again and Robin Williams - from the makers of Ice Age so it should be good)
Joss Whedons Firefly movie, Serenity
King Kong (Peter Jacksons next magnum opus)
Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy
Fantastic Four (most likely not to do well - limited appeal)

Chances of getting anything other than basic and chase sets is stretching it a bit?

On the TV front, there's also the new Captain Scarlet animated series to watch out for in the autumn - maybe Cards Inc will pick that one up?  And the new Doctor Who with Chris Ecclestone and Chris Evans' ex.  And Stargate Atlantis (which I quite like and which has got me hooked on SG-1).  I guess Inkworks will have another 24 release and Smallville Season 4 - Tom Welling to sign would be nice and Michael Rosenbaum.  Chances of a dual auto there?

In Canada, we get all the Stargate shows last even though they are filmed here. However, I heard that for season 8, we'll gett it before the U.K. and the U.S. I can't wait for HP 6th book and Stargate 7 season cards. I of course can't wait for Atlantis and season 8.

I want to see what the Transformers Card Set looks like (it IS out this year isn't it?) as the promo cards for it are really nice.

SW Episode III ~ I just hope the dialogue is better on this film than it has been like for the first two .... cringeworthy is the polite term I was looking for to describe it. Undecided
The promo I've seen for this looks interesting, so perhaps a base set or two for me from this series.

The Magic Roundabout  .... I wonder if they will include images/stills from the old series or not?
A definite blast from the past there ....*boing!* ... "Time for bed!" Said Zebedee. Wink

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm for those of us (like me) with a chocolate addiction AS WELL as a card addiction you will be glad to hear Thorntons have a deliciously Magic Roundabout oriented chocolate range at the moment Smiley (launched Jan 1st)

Stargate SG-1 never really grabbed me but I really like Atlantis - O'Neill acts like he really couldn't care and Teal'c NEVER takes that grimace off his face!  Having said that I've started watching the new series of SG-1 and I'm quite enjoying it for once.  Atlantis is in a similar vein to SG-1 and there's been the odd hokey filler episode but generally it's really good.  And it ties in with the current season of SG-1.  They've just aired the first "crossover" episode here in the UK.  I don't know what to tell you without giving stuff away.  There's a new enemy for starters and an incredibly irritating crew member who you will probably want to strangle by episode three  Wink
