Good luck!  Yes, this was the first PS2 game I played myself.  I loved it because it was easy to hit all sorts of buttons and still do okay.  Since then, I have moved up to much more difficult aiming.  I am currently playing Gun, but Kingdom Hearts started this terrible addiction I have to video games.  I have played and beat so many games myself that I never thought I could do...although, I still leave the scary games to my husband, like Fatal Frame, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, etc....If something scary happens, I usually just do something that ends up getting me killed....but I love to watch others play those games. Oh Sharon, I hope you enjoy Kingdom Hearts as much as I did Grin

Latest update.  I have swung through the trees with Tarzan.  Well to be accurate I fell from the trees with Tarzan  Wink  I then gave up and tried the Hercules bit which had less **** but was even harder  Shocked   I think I might need to fight a bit more and raise my hit points.  But everyone keeps telling me to go and see the bloke in the underground cavern but it is still blocked off  Hopping Mad  Oh well I am still loving it  Grin

Have you kept playing?  Aren't the other worlds great!  Don't worry, there are some difficult bits, but you can get through them.  If I did, anyone can.  I had the worst coordination for video games when I played this (I must have made my husband dizzy at times Roll Eyes)  But I got the hang of it and now I am unstopable Tongue

And the second one comes out this month!

The second one will be a far distance treat the speed I am playing this one, but it is not for lack of hours played  ROFL!  I was quite horrified when I noticed it keeps a running tally and I have now played this game for 31 hours  Shocked  But I am still loving it  Grin

I was swallowed by the whale on Wednesday (don't get to say that very often  Wink ) but got bored running around the chambers so I jumped in my Gummy Ship and went back to Traverse Town.  I am seriously struggling on finding the Pooh pages and the Trinity marks but I have set lots of little puppies free - how cute is that to see them all running around the house  Kiss

I have sort of decided to just wander around all the bits I have done for a few more days building up my HP.  I am currently a level 31 but for some unknown reason Goofy is a level 39  Shocked  The trouble is I soften up the targets and he nips in for the kill  Hopping Mad

Just one question this time - how good was you at building Gummy Ships?  I am absolutely useless!  My first two attempts had guns that just sort of floated in front and had very little shielding.  Is it essential that I build my own ship?

I should load my game up to see how long I played that game Roll Eyes

I was waiting for you to get there.  By that point in playing the game, I actually dreamt that I was inside that crazy colorful Whale ROFL!

I couldn't make sense of that thing Undecided, but my husband seemed to understand it and built up my ship Roll Eyes. It helps you a bit in between worlds.

As for your HP, I seem to remember one of my characters having more than me too. Its just been so long since I played.

I know I've played the game for a long, long, too (in the beginner version mode). I've been playing with the Expert version mode, but I haven't completed it. It's pretty much the same, though Undecided

LOL, You were swallowed by a whale on Wednesday, so what's next Wink I wasn't the biggest fan of this world. When I left, it was a pain to find him again. I had to go back and get trinities and boxes that I couldn't reach at the time.

I am seriously struggling on finding the Pooh pages and the Trinity marks but I have set lots of little puppies free - how cute is that to see them all running around the house  Kiss

You should go back and free all the puppies. It's really worth it. Also, make sure that you "lock" all of the worlds and finish the Hades Cup at the Coleseum. Doing those will onlock the secret movie at the end. It was made before Kingdom Hearts II and Chain of Memories (for GBA). It was a short preview if the series would continue.

I didn't really like building Gummy Ships. On my first game, I did minimal to my ship. I just added a Shield Gummy to the default ship ... I forget it's name Undecided This time around, I went through changing each Gummy to make it stronger. It changes the color, but it's a little better.

To me, only minor tweeks to the ship you are currently using it essential in finishing the game. The last couple flights to worlds get harder and longer. After I visited the world, I just warp to it. It takes less time Wink

Good luck and keep us updated Grin

Right, I have got rid of a whole host of baddies and think I am on the final stretch but I want to build up my strength before I got to the final world.  Just a couple of question please:

Halloween Town - is there anything worth doing here?  I have killed the giant potato sack (or whatever he was) and Jack keeps asking me if I want to go for a walk with him, which I do (just to be polite  Wink ) but I don't find anything  Sad

The Gadget Shop - the clock is stuck at 6.54.  Is this significant?

In the lastest PS 2 magazine there is a little cheat book.  Now when I have used coded cheats on the PC they have stayed there for good ie even when I don't need the cheat anymore I can't get rid of it.  Is this the same on PS2?  I don't want to load on a cheat that I can't get rid of.  How sad is this - I need help to cheat on my cheats  ROFL!

Thank you  Grin

Oh, your getting by rather well Wink Good luck on the final world Smiley

Besides killing Oogie Boogie (a potato sack filled with bugs), I can't think of anything too important to do there. You'll have the basic trinities and puppies and what not, though. If you sealed the keyhole, you should be all set with Halloween Town Wink

The Gadget Shop - the clock is stuck at 6.54.  Is this significant?

There's something that you have to do with this. It involves getting some boxes filled with something that I can't remember Huh If I can think of it, I'll get back to you!

I've never used the cheats so I can't help you with this one. I think a more experienced gamer could help you with this one ... this is the only game that I played continually Embarrassed

Thank you  Grin

Your welcome Wink I hope I was able to help Cheesy

I finished it  Grin Cry  As you can see I am not sure whether to laugh or cry.  Thank you to everyone who helped me lock the final door.  I did have one moment of panic when I saw how long I had been playing then I remembered I just left the game running when I went to cook dinner etc  (well that's my excuse  Wink ).

I managed to complete all the quests necessary to get a peak of KH2 and it looks really good, if a little brief.  Well next game will be Tomb Raider  Grin  I have played the demo of the first section and got completely stuck  ROFL! but it is so good and definitely one to get.

Which Tomb Raider?  Another series I am addicted to.  Although, I admit, I don't play it.  I make my husband play so I can watch ROFL!

Wimp  Wink ROFL!  Get shooting, remember Girl Power!!  ROFL!

It is the new one out TR Legend.  There was a free playable demo with this months PS2 magazine.  They said it would take 20 minutes but as per my usual track record I was going for 2 hours and still didn't get to the end  ROFL!  There was also a playable demo for Dragon Quest which will definitely be on my Christmas list  Grin

LOL.  In a game like Tomb Raider, when something comes at me, I tend to run the other way Roll Eyes

We have it paid for already, so as soon as it comes out on Tuesday, I can just pick it up.

Has anyone got KH2 yet?

No but it is on my Birthday wish list.  I figure by August I might be half way through Lara  ROFL!

Let me know what Tomb Raider is like though, I am counting on you to be one step ahead to get me through  ROFL! - I won't be getting it till Easter, that is assuming the Easter Bunny gets it for me  Wink

Well, we only do one game at a time and are only half way through Fatal Frame 3 right now.  And we have about 5 other games we haven't started yet.  I have a feeling Lara might be the next one though Wink
