Ben noticed when opening his box - live on the internet I might add That he had a number printed inside his box.... does anyone have any clues what it might mean? It was more than 5000 so it wasn't the order of production or anything!

The numbers printed inside the box cover corresponds to a lot number when the cards were printed. Usually on the bottom of the box at least in Decipher's Lord of the Rings CCG there is another number attached via a stick on label that lets you know if you have sequential boxes from a case of cards. This is important when you are trying to collect all the cards in a particular set as you have a much better chance to complete your set rather than continuing to get repeats of usually the Rare cards. I hope this helps you.

Yes Savage, welcome to the forum If you want to put a nice picture up by your name of a plane, or of Aragorn (Ferdinand the Yak already has a stunning photo of Legolas by her name! I wonder where she got that!). Then email it to us and we'll host it for you So if I had a case the numbers inside would be consecutive... so if anyone gets a hotbox can they note the numbers for us please?? (useful info to know - I suppose MPC's hotbox shells are in the bin now )

I feel honored to be welcomed aboard by the Head-Bull and She-Queen of The Mighty Yak Shack!! If anyone has any questions they think I can help with please feel free to contact me. I will put my 2 cents in - that's an American expression for giving advise or responding - when I think I can contribute to the discussion. Thanks for the warm welcome!!

There's loads of Americans on this board... they are always putting their 2 cents in... LOL it's probably half English half American would you say? Perhaps we should have a poll and find out! <edit - we now do have a poll - come here and prove Roz that there are more Brits than Americans on the board http://www.theyakshack.co.uk/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=158 > Back to the main topic; the boxes I had all had the same number inside - so I think it's the case number, possibly the number of cases ever produced by Artbox... must go up all the time!

No, soccerfanatic is from the US and the source of my FOTR Aragorn. Seems like I am the only one from the bottom half of the world here

Hello Ferdinand_the_Yak:
Thank you for the compliment but Roz was the source of my Aragorn photo. It is my favorite image of Aragorn from all 3 movies. What part of New Zealand do you live in? My Dad served in the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and rested and trained just outside of Wellington. He told me how wonderful all the New Zealand people treated the Marines after their return from Guadalcanal and Tarawa. He always held a special place in his heart for New Zealand. Were you anywhere near the filming for any of the LOTR's movies?

Oops - yeah Ed we have to confess, we got all the images of Aragorn from Ferdinand the Yak (from now on known as FTY) - she showed us the link to the images, Roz downloaded them, resized them uploaded them and set them all up for you And when I first knew Roz she thought Acorn computers were cool - my how things have changed she creates numerical models of saltmarshes on them now

Well then Thank you FTY for the images and Roz for the uploading and resizing. It hit me after I sent the reply to you FTY that Oz was slang for Australia. Have you ever been to England or the United States? What part of Australia do you live in?

Inhabitant of bright sunny Sydney I have not been to the UK, but I was in Los Angeles with a friend for a week last July. 'Fondest' memory was of getting lost on our way to Disneyland and attempting to visit the entire theme park in 9 hours . We had to wait almost an hour for the Pirates of the Carribean ride that I insisted we go on because the movie had just been released around that time and everyone wanted to go on it

I have visited your country several times but it was mainly up north in the Darwin area for training. I have heard great things about Sydney. The Opera House looks beautiful in pictures I have seen. Have you attended any performances there? Getting lost on your way to Disneyland must have been exciting!! I have spoken to several people who were at Disneyland in Florida at the same time you were there in California and they said the same thing about the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. They were however able to obtain several Pirates of the Caribbean premiere pins for me and I treasure them.
