4 hours indeed. And both it and the Choc Frog have already been paid for & shipped to the USA.

I put it on last night to see how what interest it got, not expecting anyone to go for the £300 BIN. So I wake up this morning & see it's gone, along with one of my Chocolate Frog's for a BIN of £150.

I should sleep more often if I can get £450 for doing so !

I'll be putting another Frog on tonight. I haven't decided the BIN yet but it will probably be between £175 & £200. That will still leave me with my Witches/Bitches Frog, which I can't decide how to list to grab the attention it so richly deserves  Grin

Got my first sealed box closing tonight at minimum £65, so all in all, things are looking ok so far.

Is he really ? Well, well.

I was going to say that I would recommend sending the item insured & the postage would cost a little more, but he paid so bloody quickly I didn't get the chance  Grin

Doesn't matter, I sent it that way anyway & covered the difference myself. It's all good for business.

I hit a buy it now on one of the honeydukes candy cards on ebay last night

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3294708254&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

Not a bad price, I don't think.  No picture of the card, but nonetheless it is the card and thats all that matters.  Smiley

The Pear Tree Leaves card is going to be a hard one to get.  I have bid on one in a private auction with a distributor here in the US, but I think that I will get outbid as there was a lot of interest for it, but I will let you know this afternoon.  Smiley

Hey ZTaylork, I too am bidding on a private auction with the same US distributor, but for the Hondeydukes prop card, not the pear tree leaves. How high do you think I should bid it up to? I'm just afraid I'll be beaten by only a few dollars. It stinks that we can't see what the current bids are  Angry How much should I bid on for this card?

And by the way, congrats on the great price for the Honeydukes card on ebay! Wish I had seen that one sooner Wink

Isn't it noon yet it "this certain distributors land"... I hope you aren't too late!

I'll post the name after noon has past. It doesn't seem fair otherwise

Right - so how long do we need to wait to hear back from Potomac... will they tell us if you didn't win (well tell you?) and will they tell you the highest bid... probably not unless it was you!

Would someone in the States venture to phone them tonight about 5pm their time... you can put a handkerchief over the mouthpiece and put on a french accent if you want to hide your identity  Wink

Well its 12 in Potomac land, so I am hoping they sort everything out soon, so that we can see who the winner is.  I would like to at least know what they both sold for, so hopefully they share that with us.  Well just got an email they said the winning bids were

Pear Tree Leaves  $937.77
Honeydukes Candy  $418.30

I think it was me on the pear tree leaves card, but can't remember what exactly I bid.  I see yours is up to $949.77, so that makes me feel better if I did win it at $937.77.  I wish I knew what the next lowest bid was, to know exactly what I might have got it for.  I will let you know for sure when potomac sends me an email.
