Has anyone watched the preview on Disk 2 of ROTK for the new EA LOTR's Game coming out? It is called "The Battle for Middle Earth" and looks fantastic. Check it out on your Disk 2. This is not the one Roz was just talking about although that one is going to be pretty cool as well.

Roz:
Nope - this is a brand new game coming out. The narrator who is I think John Ryes-Davies also says that there are more LOTR's games in the pipeline.

Take the game back on Game's 10 day money back guarentee. Then buy it again, because when you buy it you can also buy the Eye Toy camera for £10 instead of £30.

Yep game have a 10 day garuantee (no quibble) so if you don't like the game you can take it back - they will be nice to you anyway if you are secretly buying the game as well - I did a similar thing with our copy of ROTK LOL

Hey Roz & Mark: You are using the Eye Toy when playing ROTK? You must tell us what that looks and feels like!! What do you use for weapons if you are fighting Orcs, Uruk-Hai, and other nasties?

You can't actually use the Eye Toy to play games unless they are specifically written for Eye Toy (unfortunately). So we only have the two Eye Toy games that have been released and when we get Harry Potter then there will be that one too. I'm tempted to get Singstar, which uses microphones and you sing kareoke at it and you can use the Eye Toy as an optional extra.

Well folks: That does it for me. All this talent and he can sing too!! Now we want some samples of Mark singing!! Any way to post up some samples on the Forum? How about doing a singing piece for Bob's Your Uncle or your Pirates strip? I know Mark - I have too much time on my hands!!

Well I can't really sing in tune but I enjoy it all the same! The people around me, however, do not. You never know, if I ever branch out into a flash cartoon of any of my strips there might be a song in there somewhere. But eeing how long it takes me to do still frames, it might take a little longer to some up with a fully animated cartoon!!

Rubbish about the "in tune bit"
He even wrote a song once!
And did you know the man plays the Bassoon (I play the oboe).
Did you also know the fabulous sneezing in sneezin' steven is Mark's "voice acting"
Watch out Viggo!

Mark - that's you in Sneezing Stephen!! Now look at the can of worms I have opened!! FTY - Mark also has to let his hair grow to shoulder length in addition to your suggestions!! Mark - is it very difficult to program voice and music into toons?

Not at all when you use Flash - it's a matter of importing a wave or an MP3 file. Very easy really

Now why did I expect you to say that? After all you are one of the most talented people I know with computers and graphics!! When I get the Jonny Quest DVD's and send them to you to view I would be interested in your description of how these were made as the series came out in 1964 so the technology would have been different from today. I really enjoyed the series and I think you will too. I think there are 26 half hour esisodes to the first season.
