I liked the episode a lot only two gripes.

1, The football had finished so why did they have to yak on about it and make Dr Who late  Hopping Mad

2, Not enough Scottish from the Dr  Kiss

I loved this episode, especially the whole 'the Royal family are werewolves' bit  ROFL!

The odd thing though was David's accent.  The Scottish one sounded fake whilst the English one sounded natural - now that's good acting for you  Grin

Yeah it was a bit odd. Like Shakespare when the woman are men who are woman who are men  Roll Eyes Actually I don't think that scots accent was exactly like his own which was odd although it may have been my ears. I have done my research of course, the stories of Hiccup horrendous haddock the third (How to Train your Dragon and How to Be a Pirate) read by Mr Tennant in his lovely natural accent Kiss

I guess it was his English accent doing a scots accent Undecided

If you didn't see tonight's episode then you need to beg, steal, borrow or illegally download it.  It knocked the spots off of any episode so far, this series or last.  It was such a quirky idea but answered so many questions about the Doctor.  I even had a little tear in my eye at the end  Cry  Poor Sarah Jane  Cry.  A definite two thumbs up, 10 out of 10 episode  Grin

It really did... it was the best in the series so far. I have only seen these recent series so I only know these 2 doctors. I remember my parents talking about K9, and I thought he was a dalek dog, I didn't realise he was the doctor's dog. I just LOOOVE him, I hope he's in something later on Grin

Yes the spin off series was called K9 and had Sarah Jane and another assistant, a bloke .....  ooo I can see him .... was it Jamie?  I am sure Boggy will come on later and correct me.  It didn't run very long and was only really propped up by guest appearances by Tom Baker.  K9 is a great idea in very small doses Wink

Do we think Torchwood is going to stand a better chance as a spin off?

Oh you young whippersnappers  Grin In the olden days I used to think K9 was a lame excuse for a plot device. I curse the BBC for making him cool  Undecided

Yeah I was watching last night too, it's amazing how different his voice is when he's demonstrating Dr Who's English-ness, there's a real richness to his voice that you don't hear with his true Scots accent.

As he went to hug someone you could see just how thin he is in that kilt, I suggest we all send him some cadburys stocks immediately before he fades away.

Aw bless him, he was ill after they finished filming the series :-( yes a Yak Shack chocy parcel for Mr Tennant, what reaction do you think he would have?   Undecided
(possible view of the out come ROFL! http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/gallery/s2_03gallery/1024/doctor5.jpg )

He is very good with his voices and accents I saw a bit of the Chatterley affair the other day and he had a Leeds accent I think, also he has done a fair few audio books which he is brilliant at, one I've heard he can sound like a very large viking, I don't know how he sounds so large when he isn't. (Although I do love his natural accent myself  Wink )
