Mark and I went to Staples in hope of finding some Sharpie pens (we should be so lucky!!!) but what we did find was some perfectly sized bags for trading cards in toploaders.

In the States they call them "team bags" - what you need in the UK are "Flexocare Polythene bags" Remember your card should be in a penny sleeve and toploader before putting them in these. But they are perfectly sized (89mm by 114mm is what you want - they also say 3.5 x 4.5 inches on them if you want to double check Wink).

Woo hoo!

So all buyers from "MakTheYak" will finally have everything properly packaged with a team bag and everything*, which is good news as I am likely to have some SS spares - prior to this I used to hold the end of the toploader shut and sellotape it together. I held it shut at the end so it didn't risk getting the card stuck to the tape.

 Grin

*shameless self promotion alert!!!

Just to follow this up guys.

They no longer seem to have them in store (I have been in 3 branches now looking) -

They have them online -

http://www.staples.co.uk/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=,&webid=9705GPB02&affixedcode=WW

But there's probably a high shipping cost to factor in - Hmmm I wonder what else I could buy to justify the postage and packaging (ha ha - who says inertia selling is dead??)

Update - do you reckon I should look for some 'toxic' self seal bags? It would be hilarious to see people's reaction if I sold a variant LOST card with a sweat stain in a toxic bag ROFL!

haha good idea on the toxic bags!! ROFL!

My local Staples didn't seem to have very much in the way of stock when I went I just before Christmas and they definitely didn't have anything like these self-seal team bags for sale - useless place! Undecided

Those bags seem a bit pricey, not to mention the ziplock is a tad overkill.

I don't know what they charge for shipping, but you could get at least 4 100pc packets of team bags in a $5 flat rate Global Priority Mail envelope and get them from the states.  If you know where to look Evil team bags are only about $2 a packet.

To be fair Ed, these are a lot thicker and more protective than team bags like the Ultra pro ones in the States. Although I have been asking about importing Grin
