Well I took the kids to see PoA this morning, (9am at the Mall!) DOn't you just love School Holidays Anyway, Good Film, But 2 real moans! 1: Quality of the Print, The Film seems to be very low quality, and was Soft Focus in a lot of sections of the film, seemed like it was just sections and not the entire film, did anyone else notice this! 2: Security, I really don't appreciate being treated like a criminal!, and 5 mins of Federation Against Copyright Theft warning before the Film, warning that security personel would be checking the theatre for recording devices,! Followed at least 6 times during the film by Theatre staff wandering thru using Night Vision Goggles to check the entire audience really was a distraction at points! Was this a general thing, or did I just go to the Multiplex from hell! Regards Victoria

It is a shame that pirates are disrupting the enjoyment of movies and that cinema staff have to take such actions. The studio's have so much invested in the making of these movies that they can not afford the piracy that is going on and thus we have these security measures. It will be interesting to see if this happens in the United States when I see the movie when it opens this Friday, June 4th.

I have to say I didn't even notice anyone with IR goggles. The warning notices at the beginning weren't too bad - it's just like all the rubbish you get at the beginning of a DVD... you just ignore it.

Aye Mark would have been warned by his spider sense tingling!! But seriously maybe the reason you did not see anyone is because they were very good at what they were doing and did not come to the attention of the audience. That would be my method of operation especially if you were trying to catch someone making a copy of the movie.

How many posts do you need to have to climb into the lofty ranks of Yak?

It goes calf , heffer (50 posts), cow (100 posts), bull (250 posts) and finally Yak (500 posts). You know it's worth the effort

Laugh out blimmin loud - do you remember in the Monstors Inc film they do a musical during the credits "put that thing back where it came from - so help me?" - your I will reach that lofty Yak goal so help me!! perfectly fits into that pattern - so you can sing along using that theme! As indeed Mark and I just did! Ahem - it's 11.20 PM here - surely I am allowed a LITTLE madness

Roz you know that "madness" is allowing anytime on TheYakShack!! I saw HP PoA last evening and there was no security evident at all. We live in a very small town and the theater we see films at has only 2 screens so I was not expecting anything like what I was reading in the posts here. Now granted where I used to live there is a huge Showcase Cinema complex with 21 screens and I would not have been surprised to see security measures there. As a matter of fact there was not any type of warning notes like Mark was talking about either. And yes Roz & Mark I know the song of which you speak and now you have me singing this tune - so help me!!
