No I don't think so.   Sad

Though the story was obviously created from myth and legend with a certain castle in mind - anyone want to take a guess at which one?

Hi Samwise:

How large is Nottingham Castle?  You said it is now a museum so has it been restored so the public can visit it?

Anyone famous live there?

Good questions???

Ben???

I think in general though castles in the middle of cities are not inhabited like this.

THey are museums, or hotels or sometimes in country locations owned by charities such as the National Trust or English Heritage so that the public can go and enjoy the gardens and the castles

I have another friend I met while on eBay who lives in Birmingham.  He sent me some photos of a great looking castle that was not very from from there but for the life of me I cannot remember its name.  He took his girlfriend there for the day as they had archery and other types of demos going on all day.  It was a pretty big castle by the photos he sent.  Anyone know what it's name is and where it is located exactly?
