Hi folks

Well it's always nice to have a list of birthdays of all nice members somewhere. Besides Mark may be making forum birthday cards (yes, obviously with Yaks or his toons on somewhere... it's unlikely you will be able to request a Yak free card).

And if you put your birthdays in on your profile page it will even tell everyone when it's your birthday on the front page of the forum! How about that?

Same here.
I did not know that. Interesting, very interesting.... Cool

Any chance you want to fly to wellington to celebrate?
A friend of mine here in Oz (whom I met during orientation) has the same birthday also and is coming over to celebrate...You'd be welcome to crash at my place of course!
But very cool.

Sounds good Alyssa, but I am not 100% sure the bank account will bear it Smiley would be great fun though, I haven't made it to the Southern Hemisphere yet.

I have been within 500 miles of the North Pole though, sailing between the slices of pancake ice... it was eerie  Undecided

So are you over in Oz studying Alyssa - will you be there for a whole year? You should get familiar with it Smiley

fair enough...just thought I'd throw the idea out there. You'd love NZ-obviously!
haven't been that close to the north pole--sounds cool also.
I'm in OZ doing my master's degree. I'm here until mid-January at which point I'm off to Wellington until middle June--it's a joint program between two schools. I'm liking OZ but I can't wait to return to NZ.

Good grief, that makes me feel old! Cool  Is there anyone here pushing 40 or more?  Not that I'm admitting my age...

Ah, 30.  I remember it well.  No husband...no kids...no house...no bills...few responsibilities.  Those were the days!  Wink

Mine is August 15 1978. Just turned 26 and I am starting to feel old now.  My two kids and my husband sure do make me feel older at times.

Reluctantly, I suppose I should add my details to this list.

January 7th, a seriously awful time of year to have a birthday as everyone is partied out and even if they weren't, they've got no money left  Cry

In terms of year, all I will admit to at this stage is that at least it starts with 19 and the location of such a momentous event is a strange land of faerie grotto's, multipeds and one of the oldest, continuous 'assembly places' in the world.
