Closer - this movie was the biggest piece of crap ever.  How did they get such a great cast to agree to such a crappy movie.

This movie was terrible, and what made it worse is it was so perverse.  I am no prude by any means but the dirty talk was at a whole different level than I have ever heard, and it certainly didn't add anything to the movie.

I have Alfie right now on rental and I am so hesitant to watch it after Jude was in such a bad movie.  Oh the horror.

If anyone actually liked this movie I would love to hear it, or if you share my opinion.

I wouldn't say its that bad!! I guess I have mixed feeelings on it. Fantastic cast who all gave wonderful performances. Especially Clive Owen. Wow  Shocked
It was quite perverse--but many people argued that some of that dialogue made it more natural. I went to see it because of the acting but the storyline was oh so depressing. Reminded me of "the hours" in that way. I really didn't care for it one way or the other I guess. I still can't see why some people like it so much--yes it's well done but so depressing!!!

i liked it but then again my favourite movie is "the hours" so maybe i'm just weird. it was a little sexual but i wouldn't call it perverse i mean normal people have sex so what wrong with it in film and there weren't any pornographic scenes . the entire movie talked about sex but showed little of it and gave an accurate portrayal of sex lives i think well to a degree anyway.am i wrong completely?Huh? Undecided

I don't think that was a very accurate portrayal of a normal sex life.   More in the direction of what Clive Owens character liked to talk about.  I don't necessarily think that any of the other characters were that bad.  Him wanted to know all these details of everything was a bit strange.  I had to close my screen door because I didn't want my neighbor in the condo next to me to hear the language.

THE HOURS is one of my favorite movies too, but I haven't seen Closer.
