No and I didn't get a response to my question for seller asking which number it is ... so it is a bit of a gamble - I hope it pays off for them  Cheesy

This seller had emailed me last week stating he had the card coming in this week and told me to make him an offer. I did and he sounded like he was pleased with the offer, but then I never heard back for about a week...but I decided to wait a few days to list my Pear Tree card in hopes that he wouldn't be able to find what they go for.  I don't know if he would have sold it to me either way.  But I think the buyer will get the card.  It would be nice to know what number it is and what it looks like.

Yes, I reckon he saw mine and put a BIN now at what mine was at hoping someone would hit it.  Oh well, that just means mine can still grow higher with out his interferring with it.  Smiley

I suppose you probably lost a bidder though  Huh but it seems there are plenty out there.

Just out of interest have you noticed any people from my auction coming back to yours? Or have you got a whole new demographic of bidding over there (no names need to be mentionned Smiley )

It only shows me who the high bidder is on the auction, and the main reason I keep it private is to keep other sellers from sending emails to the bidders (which the seller who just sold at $1800 probably would have done as that is how he emailed me with some cards he wanted to sell me on the side)  but right now dis-cix is in the lead at $1800.

p.s. I am excited to be a heffer now, it was dreadful being a calf for so long Smiley

When you first said this I thought you had been watching too many X-Files - when the BIN$1800 card came on I realised you were probably right!

but right now dis-cix is in the lead at $1800.

If Dis-Cix is as annoyed as I would have been to be outbid on the last peartree card in the last blimmin 5 seconds I really hope he/she wins this one.

Keep going - to be a Yak is your main purpose now Smiley

Sometimes my wife says the same thing.  But it is true, there are alot of people who live of other peoples auctions and never have to pay the ebay fees, and actually hurt my auctions by soliciting my bidders.  Once in a while I forget to click the "private auction" and usually half the time I will get a bid retracted on those auctions for some reason, but never on my private auctions.  The tiny voices in my head is what made me decide to stick to private auctions.  I am only 26 years old and I already feel like a paranoid old man sometimes.  Smiley  No, in all seriousness I would recommend private auctions to anyone.  Its not as fun for us spectators to see who is bidding on them, but its free and it definetly doesn't hurt.  Just my thoughts.
