He hee - but when you take a plane under your wing surely you aer refuelling - or trying to outrun them - or perhaps doing a snazzy flyover for the queen..  There was a plane over dengie yesterday - we took a 35mm pic and will develop and post it - Ed we have a pile of stuff for you at both Mark's and my places I'll get a big box and pack it all up |

Hey Roz: The term taking someone under your wing generally refers to protecting someone or to mentor someone. When we aerial refuel we fly behind the tanker aircraft and at a distance that has a saftey factor built in, in case of air turbulence so we do not collide. I look forward to seeing the photo, hopefully I can tell you what type of aircraft it was! |
