Just wondering if anyone has any items or merchandise from the upcoming GOF movie? My parents are in Queensland at the moment and I jsut received a call from them a few moments ago. They were in the Harry Potter store at Warner Bros. Movie World and just got me: A Tri-Wizard tournament multi layered pencil tin, a money tin with the 4 champions on it, a lunchbox plastered with Viktor Krums face, a Harry Potter poster of some description and apparently a Fawkes the Phoenix denim wallet thing. This is the first I have heard of any merchandise for the new film so I was wondering if anyone else has seen any stuff in their area?

Even thought I'm getting a case for my birthday/Christmas I still want to save up for some more boxes (because I think this will be the best set since SS Grin ) and just buy it all at once so I have some saving I want to do. I want to get a case and a half so....

Good luck Mike! I probably shouldnt be spending so much at the moment and saving up for my cases but I couldnt not get the Scene it game and the Noble Collection Godric Gryffindor sword.  Undecided On another note does anyone have this officially licensed sword? If so is it really good because I just shelled out 300AU bucks for it... Huh

Did you buy it from the Noble Collection website? I have never bought a replica sword from them, but I did buy a LOTR keychain. Pretty Smiley

The only offical one I know of is the one by Noble and the little plastic ones that come in red and blue. I'm getting the Scene It! Game a two cards for have those good grades so I dont have to save up that much. Most of the movie merchindise comes out at the end of October, begining of November so I have a little time to save up some money before putting it all on Lay-A-Way for Chirstmas Wink

FTY yep I purchased it from Noble directly. My card should be processed for the order soon but if anyone has this sword and would like to comment on the quality etc it would be greatly appreciated. I plan to hang it on my wall and get my new HP poster next to it framed.  Grin

The one thing that turned me off the Gryffindor sword was that you couldn't take the sword off the plaque as it was permanently fixed to it. I like to be able to pick up my swords/knives and admire them Smiley I've got the UC Legolas knives and scabbard set and am looking to get an Aragorn elven knife soon as well from UC.

(No I do not threaten people with them... well not yet, anyway ROFL!)

I dont like the knives/swards and my mom wouldnt let me have them anyways so it works out perfectly. I rally like the replicas. Even thought to Divinations Crystal ball is only 5 inches tall I still want it because its a replica Grin

Yeah the divination ball looks tops. Well Im kinda glad I got the sword because its the only 100% official replica out there. FTY, I am a little disappointed it isnt removeable but I hope it looks brilliant. I have the UC Sting sword with scabbard. Love it!  Grin

I bought a sword on eBay.  It is almost identical to this one and came with a seperate wall plaque to hang it on.  It is the sharpest sword I own (and I like to collect swords).  It is not a replica or licensed product though.  The only difference is that my "Godric Gryffindor" name on the blade is engraved.  The first one I bought had cheap black writing on it that could be scratched off with your fingers.  I was not impressed so sent it back and got a different one instead.  I like the sword, and this one should be really nice.  It looks it.  I know mine is a fake (at least I think), but it sure does look good.

Cool. Nice to hear some feedback on the sword. Regardless if its a fake. Sounds nice.  Cheesy
I also purchased the Noble Collection Final Challenge Chess set. It's just so nice but I just remembered I dont even know how to play chess so for $650AU I had better learn eh?  Tongue
