No idea, Marcia.  But when you get it all sorted out please post a review of the PC game.  That's how I'll be playing it when I get it.  Probably for Christmas.

Marcia, you shoud write EA Games about your problem to get technical help.  You'll need to set up an account with them to get support though.

Well, I had no idea what a D3D9 Error was either. I decided to google it to see what could come of that. I found this BBC Webpage which may be of some help Wink

Here's what it has to say:

Q: What does a d3d9.dll error mean?
A: You need the latest version of DirectX on your computer. This is a free application which is available from the Microsoft DirectX website.

Hope this helps so you can play the game as much as possible Grin

Wow if that is the problem I think that is really bad.  Up until now whenever I have bought games the latest Direct X has been on the disc.  It's a bit of a cheek if they expect everyone to be able to go on line to update.

But Mcgonagall I am so jealous.  I won't be getting mine until Santa has paid me a visit.  Please let it be good  Praying

No, you have to download the latest version online.  I just hope whatever soundcard in your PC is compatible with the latest version.  Mine is not, so the game I downlaoded the latest version for will not run properly still.  I either need a ne sound card or a new PC.  I opted for the new PC since most games require more memory than my PC can carry right now.  Good luck!

Well that will be fun, not  Hopping Mad  Me and Dad are not on line and as we are the HP game players I think a little bit of lateral thinking will be in order  Wink
