Is anyone else going to this show?  Looks like lots of HP actors including KRUM!  And also Wash and River from Serenity.  Even Hurley from LOST.  www.fxshow.com  It's only 3 hours from me, so I'm going to try to make it.  Thanks so much to Ed of Sci Fi Cards for the info!  Smiley

Man! Check out the special guests page here http://www.fxshow.com/guests.htm

What is going on with Jamie Yeates (Marcus Flint) and Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) ....... The kid that plays Marcus Flint looks nothing at all like his character, he is a actually kinda good looking! And Chris Rankin looks nothing like his character photo..he looks a bit strange with that curly hair....ahhh strange things are happening here!

Yep!  One of the LOST episodes this year is called "Everybody hate's Hugo".  It was a funny one.

Wow, I skipped this last year due to a lack of signers that would be there but WOW! I am definetly going to go this year! That line-up already looks GREAT and FX likes to add people right up to the last moment.

With the addition of Summer Glau & Alan Tudyk I may have to trek down there.

So who is actually going to this? I am going to be there Saturday, walking around getting autographs and trying to find people to trade cards with. I will have all my spare Potter cards with me...so look for the fat kid with the yellow backpack...wait, I forgot, this is a comic convention...So I guess "fat kid in a yellow backpack" won't really help you lol

Well here are some of the notable autograph line-up for the show in case you did not already know.

Serenity:
Summer Glau
Alan Tudyk

Harry Potter
Stanislav Ianevski
Devon Murray
Tolga Safer
James Yeats

Other Guests
George A. Romero  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Robert Englund
Sid Haig
Pater Mayhew
David Carradine  Grin Grin Grin Grin - I am getting my replica Kill Bill sword signed by him

So I think it is going to be a really good show. I went one two years ago and the line-up wasn't the greatest, but I am more than excited about the guests this year

That's terrific, Bryan!  I would love to go, but I would have to get all the HP and Serenity signers and I just can't justify it right now.  Cry  Do you have any idea how they do the signings?  Is it in a private room, or can anyone take a snapshot of them without being in line for an autograph?  I was also wondering approximately how much they charge?

Well, the venue has changed this year, but when it was still at the orange county convention center, the autograph room was about the size of a basketball court, and you could walk in and out at any time you like.

The way you get autographs is by putting your name on a list, when you do that, they give you a time, and you come back at that time and wait in line for about 5 minutes max.

Usually autographs are $20 but depending on the person signing they could be higher.

You can definetly get to an area where if you have a digital with a zoom you can get a great picture of them without standing in the line...some signers even take pictures with you if you ask them to.

Jorge Garcia was cancelled.
According to the site, Lost (as i'm sure you know) was nominated for some SAG awards and ABC wants the entire cast there on Sunday for the show.

Stinks. I saw him at Comic Con this past year....but I wasn't watching Lost then!

Well, I decided not to go tommorow.  We took the kids to Wild Adventures today instead.  Let me know how it was, and post some pictures if you can!

They both were nice, when Summer came into the room everyone clapped...and she looked amazing.
David Caradine was not in a good mood, he didn't say anything to me, didn't ask my name, shake my hand, I even asked him if he had any projects coming up and he didn't even respond.
Romero was prob the coolest one there, he was SO nice to everyone that came through his line, he shook your hand, asked your name, talked with you about his movies, anything and everything, I was very pleased.
