For those US Shackers who sell on eBay, here is the list of new postage rates that take effect on January 8, 2006.  If you plan on listing items that will ship after the 8th, you'll probably need to adjust your shipping rates.

I assume the postage prices only affects local domestic mails and not international mails?

Nope, the rate changes are for pretty much EVERY USPS service that's offered - first class mail, priority mail, money orders, insurance, other services + international mail.

The link with all the information at the USPS site is: http://www.usps.com/ratecase/welcome.htm

Hmm, thanks. I normally get my items sent global priority and the new charges meant an increase of 25 cents for the small envelope. Glad that its still manageable

Thanks Anna that is dead interesting.  I was watching a card in the US but when I asked the postage to the UK they quoted me $16.95 for one card.  Needless to say I won't be bidding.  But this is a great link to find out if the charges are reasonable or not  Smiley
