Well, I like your thinking mcgonagall I'm hoping that is not Ron and Hermione on the left side of the pillar because I'm not really sure I'de like to see them in a relationship besides one based on friendship. I know a lot of people, I'm sure, believe otherwise, but ... *hides behind the grazing yaks to avoid a riot of any kind* OH YEAH ... and I'm not one of those shipping people (or whatever you call them)!

Before the fun begins, you can come and hide behind the yaks with us Not quite sure where everyone stands on this, but I'm sure we'll find out quite soon! In my other forum I was nearly roasted alive foreven suggesting putting Hermione and Harry together

I agree with most people saying that they will not be visiting other sites to got stuff spoiled for them. Thats why I reserved my book and after I get up and get dressed I'm going to get it because I'm going to read it while everyone else is reading its so I know what everyone is talking about on other sites.

Anyone going to a midnight book sale? As if I had to ask. Around here it has turned into a must-do-social-event.

I like the idea of it being the Potters house but isn't it a little bit grand? It also looks quite scary to me (but I am a coward ). Could it be the Malfoy's?

Hmm, I never thought about Malfoy Manor. Maybe it is! In my mind, I pictured it scarier than this drawing. Sort of like the House of Black -- little light, serpets everywhere, very foreboding.

Yes I think you are right, bit too light for a dark wizard. Could be that the artist just saw the word prince in the title and thought they would draw a castle I can't wait for the book now. It seems to be getting further away the closer it gets, if that makes sense All of a sudden July seems to be creeping up on us instead of the usual year flying by. The bit that has got me most curious is on JK's web site where she has said not everyone will like the book. I don't know whether this is because she kills someone we all like, as has been suggested, or because she pairs up the kids into dating couples. Oh just to say I personnally love speculation, so lots of ideas please just to keep me going. Roll on July

Well since I said I liked speculation all ideas have dried up So couple of things for people to comment/agree/disagree with Percy will be revealed as a Deatheater, proving you don't have to be a Slytherin to be a dark wizard. It will be revealed that the reason Snape turned 'good' was that he found out that the Potters were about to be killed. He tried to warn Dumbledor but was too late. Victor will be the killed saving Hermione and Ron's life. Any thoughts......

My thoughts: As for Snape, In Harry's memory he hears a man's voice telling Lilly to run before Voldemort strikes. JKR never said it was Harry's father. Maybe it was Snape who went to warn them and got caught up in the attack. That would be proof enough for Dumbledore to trust him. For Percy being a deatheater, that sounds like a good story line. There has to be one bad seed in the Weasley family. Victor getting killed, hmmm...a good possibility. Everyone likes him but he's not a major character. I could live with that one. But poor Hermione!

I had never given a thought to Snape being the male voice but wouldn't that be good And it could work. If Pettigrew told Voldemort their wereabouts with Snape in the room that would explain how he could get there first. I get the impression Snape was not just a run of the mill Deatheater but high up in the ranks. Certainly powerful enough to stop the likes of Lucius Malfoy attacking him once he had betrayed Voldemort. As for Percy the main reason I want him to be bad is to prove you can't stero-type people. So I want a Griffindor to be bad and a Slytherin to do something really good, like say Goyle saving Ginny's life. As for poor Hermione she has her pick of the lads; Ron, Neville, Harry, Fred or George

Don't worry Mike, we were killing off Victor not Hermione But seriously if Hermione dies in the next book would you really not read book seven? She might get resurrected and you would never know
