As you can see by my Avatars that I am a big Stargate fan Stargate is what got me to start collecting cards in the first place and I have to thank Rittenhouse for making these cards for me to collect We are now on season 9 of SG1 and season 2 of Atlantis It is hard to believe that they are almost over, but thank goodness we will be getting another season out of both shows in the summer Their has been many changes in SG1 since the beginning from losing a lot of beloved characters to almost losing my favorite character Thank goodness for Sci-Fi and MGM for asking him back In season nine we lost RDA and got such great actors as Beau Bridges,Ben Browder, Claudia Black, Lexa Doig and Louis Gossett JR. In Atlantis we lost Rainbow but got Jason Mamoe (not sure I spelled that right ). The jury is still out on Ronon but I am loving Mitchell, Lam and Laundry...I loved Vala since I saw her in Prometheus Unbound. The new enemies are amazing also, just when you thought no one could be as bad as the Gouald, you get the Ori and the Wraith (I like the Ori better as bad guys but the Wraith are not bad IMO). I just thought I would start this post for people like me who can come in here and talk about these two great shows and share their thoughts on old and new episodes. Not to mention their favorite characters no matter who they are

Ronan definitely gets two thumbs up in this house I especially like the scenes with him and Rodney. Now for perfection we need a whole episode with Ronan, Rodney, Zelenka and Sheppard trapped somewhere together, not too threatening, with lots of silly jokes (I like the Ori better as bad guys but the Wraith are not bad IMO). Don't tell me, they are just misunderstood soul suckers I do like the Ori though. I just hope they find a good way to defeat them, not just have a story with one of Daniels ascended buddies wiping them out. And I so want Varla back in Stargate or failing that let her join Atlantis for a while - I think her and Rodney would be great together

Now for perfection we need a whole episode with Ronan, Rodney, Zelenka and Sheppard trapped somewhere together, not too threatening, with lots of silly jokes I am still trying to get used to Ronon, he has potential I would love to see him and Rodney get trapped somewhere together just like you, but I would like it if Zelenka and Sheppard had to find them Their is a great episode coming up called "Grace Under Pressure" that I am really looking forward to I don't want to say to much and give anything away because I am a MAJOR spoiler junky and I may accidently slip something out that you don't want to hear Don't tell me, they are just misunderstood soul suckers I do like the Ori though. I just hope they find a good way to defeat them, not just have a story with one of Daniels ascended buddies wiping them out. I would hate that if they were defeated that easy especially with how they are showing them now. The writers have to be careful though or they could write themselves in a corner with nowhere to go with dealing with them I don't know who is worse the Gouald or the Ori, the Wraith just look weird to me but the Genii on the other hand or great adversaries to me. I loved them in all the episodes they were in especially "The Eye" and "The Storm". And I so want Varla back in Stargate or failing that let her join Atlantis for a while - I think her and Rodney would be great together I have great news for you as far as Vala is concerned, she is going to become an official cast member in Season 10 of Stargate SG1. I have read a spoiler already for the first episode of season 10 and it sounds exciting. I could just see her and Rodney together, everybody would have to hide

I just received my Official Magazine for Stargate SG1 and Atlantis and read the following news that I thought I would share with other Stargate and LoTR fans...John Noble who played Lord Denethor in "The Return Of the King" will be making a guest appearance on the season finale of Stargate SG1 in March, the episodes title is called "Camelot".

Oh good, I think he is an excellent actor. I hope he is not King Arthur though, I much prefer him as a baddie. We had one of the best Atlantis episodes I have seen last week. It was where Sheppard goes through a barrier...... I won't say too much in case others haven't seen it but it was brilliant

Oh good, I think he is an excellent actor. I hope he is not King Arthur though, I much prefer him as a baddie. The people from the magazine were guessing he would play Antonius, a historian of Arthurian legendin the village SG1 visits or the villages Governor Meurik. This is the magaiznes guess though so he could end up playing a completely different charachter We had one of the best Atlantis episodes I have seen last week. It was where Sheppard goes through a barrier...... I won't say too much in case others haven't seen it but it was brilliant I loved that episode and I also thought it was one of the best in season 2. Did you know that Joe Flanigan helped write that episode I thought McKay was awesome in that episode also, I cracked up when he he mentioned having to waste time explaining everything to Xena and Conan Did you see last weeks episode with the bomb, I also thought that was another great episode...not to give anything away either , but I loved the way they cut the one scene from the Atlantis team trying to get the code to defuse the bomb to Teyla singing that haunting song for her friend. It was a really great way to do the scenes. I am really excited about "Grace Under Pressure" this week though because I just love Rodney McKay.

Oh Wendi, what am I going to do Stargate and Atlantis both finished this week And they both finished with the best episode of the series. I was seriously worried how Stargate could stretch to another series but after seeing the finale I just can't wait till the autumn Teal'c had some of the best lines in the whole series - the bit where he knew of another fatherless conception, Darth Vader And the Easter Bunny line Classic (you had to see it ) The only unfortunate thing was that I saw Stargate before Atlantis so the bench mark had been set pretty high. All in all an amazing year for both series. Long may they run (unlike some other shows - thinks of Charmed - that should have stopped on a high last year).

I know what you mean about both shows ending with the best season finales yet I can't belive we have to wait until July to see the stories continue Teal'c was so great with his comments and I cracked up every time Daniel kept telling the villagers that they were not evil sorcerers and each time he did that the team would get beamed up to one of the ships in front of the villagers I couldn't believe were they left off with either series and I just can't wait to see how they both turn out I know what you mean by shows that should have ended long before they actually do and thank goodness Stargate isn't one of them and it just keeps improving each year My biggest concerns for both shows are the fates pf Jackson and McKay July seems awfully far away right now

I saw that RDA was coming back and to tell you the truth I am not to happy about it. I was enjoying season 9 and how everybody had a chance at a great story unlike when RDA was the supposed star of the show. I also didn't really miss the supposed love between Jack and Sam,that just kept turning me off on some episodes that could have been even better without that garbage. I also didn't miss Jack near the end because how dumb RDA was playing his character, it really made me miss the earlier seasons with Jack especially during season 7 and 8 I guess we shall see since he is also scheduled to be in supposedly 5 other episodes of SG1 and maybe possibly a Guest Appearance on Atlantis. I am hopefully optimistic that it won't end up being as bad as I fear. Only time will tell

Morena's first appearance in the show is set for the 7th episode for season 10 titled "Counterstrike" Do you know if this is the child from her ' mystery ' pregnancy or a baby she had before she became a Goa'uld ? (I don't think they have ever said how long she was a Goa'uld so it is possible she could have a grown up daughter). Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info Your welcome I am a big time spoiler junky for Stargate so if their is anything you ever want to know just ask and I will see if I know it Another exciting news tidbit for "Stargate: Atlantis" this time is that David Hewlett's (Rodney McKay) real life sister Kate Hewlett will be playing Rodney's sister Jeannie in an episode of Atlantis titled "McKay and Mrs.Miller". I just love the character of Rodney McKay and I absolutely adore David Hewlett so this will be an exciting episode for me to see Spoiler Alert again (in case other people besides us 2 watch the show on here and don't want to know what will happen ) : : : : : : The child is the mystery baby that she will have in the first episode of season 10 on SG1. She is going to be a child for a few episodes but do to her genetic make up by the Ori she will grow up into an adult faster then kids normally do, like when the Nanites were implanted in O'Neill in the episode "Brief Candle" and what Apophis did to the Harcisis child in "Absolute Power".

Spoiler Alert again (in case other people besides us 2 watch the show on here and don't want to know what will happen )
I have only just noticed we are the only two posting on here Quick lets start a rumour that O'Neill and Carter have a secret love child and it is ....... Walter Harriman, sent back in time and see how many people take a sneaky peak So Adria is the baby she was pregnant with at the end of the season I still want to know how long she was a Goa'uld for. Assuming she used the sarcophagus she could be hundreds of years old - they have never been back to her home planet have they? I am sure that they are going to have to bring some sort of time travel into the first part of the next season - pretty much everyone is dead or dying. I think I will be quite miffed if the ancients wave their ethereal arms again and make everything right.

Walter Harriman, sent back in time and see how many people take a sneaky peak I love Stargate SG1 and Atlantis so I am glad to have at least one person to talk to about it If I do end up giving away to many spoilers for you just let me know because sometimes I can type without thinking A great idea for a rumor but I always felt that if anybody was the secret love child of Jack/Sam it would be Thor Don't you think he looks a little like Sam and Jack So Adria is the baby she was pregnant with at the end of the season I still want to know how long she was a Goa'uld for. Assuming she used the sarcophagus she could be hundreds of years old - they have never been back to her home planet have they? That would be an interesting episode to see I am already looking forward to an episode were she is supposed to get amnesia I can't wait to see her and Daniel together again, I just hope we don't lose that in season 10 because those two are just so fun to watch together. No, they have never been back to her home planet and I have a feeling that the lines she fed Daniel in the episode "The Ties that Bind" about what happened to her on her homeworld were a little more truthful then fabricated. I am sure that they are going to have to bring some sort of time travel into the first part of the next season - pretty much everyone is dead or dying. I think I will be quite miffed if the ancients wave their ethereal arms again and make everything right. I don't think the ancients will help them because unless the Ori themselves come to earth the ancients will not interfere in anyway. I have a feeling that everyone is going to have to find their own ways to escape from what happened in the season cliffhanger. On July 14th I will find out When do you get season 10 and 3 over their

I'm sorry I don't understand the meaning of this sentence. What is ' to many spoilers ' Trust me the first thing I do when Boggy gets SFX is rip apart the Spoiler Zone A great idea for a rumor but I always felt that if anybody was the secret love child of Jack/Sam it would be Thor Don't you think he looks a little like Sam and Jack
Yes it is the nose !! When do you get season 10 and 3 over their

I'm sorry I don't understand the meaning of this sentence. What is 'to many spoilers ' Trust me the first thing I do when Boggy gets SFX is rip apart the Spoiler Zone I can never get enough spoilers either If it wasn't for being spoiled about Michael Shanks departure back in season 5 I would have been even more upset then I was Thank goodness for season 7 and beyond I am loving the new team of Daniel, Teal'c, Mitchell, Sam and soon to be Vala Spoilers are a great way to enjoy things at least to me Here is another spoiler for you in case you didn't already know...Richard Dean Anderson is set to come back for 3 episodes of SGA and 2 episodes of SG1. I have mixed feelings about his return because first off I think the show is doing just fine without him, second I didn't like his dumb and goofy attitude in the later seasons of the show, and third I didn't have to put up with the Jack/Sam nonsense on the show I also have reservations about him going to Atlantis because they already have a big enough cast as it is and I don't want O'Neill to take a episode away from one of the Atlantis characters. Also again I fear that they will bring Sam on one of the same episodes Jack will be in on Altantis and they will ruin that show with the love that wouldn't die Sorry about the above stuff if you like Sam/Jack This is just one crazy fans opinion Yes it is the nose !! The nose gives away their secret all the time January 2007 That is a longer time then me By the time you get the show over their the second half will be starting over here, that is if they do it the same way they have been doing it every other season I used to love it that you guys got the second half first because I would always go on forums and message boards to see what happened. That way I wouldn't be disappointed if the episode didn't meet my expectations or I got really excited to see it when it did. I fine example of disappointment was "Evolution Part 2", part one was so great and part 2 didn't even match it. The best scenes were with Daniel/Dr.Lee and Jack/Burke even though Burke got on my nerves a couple times it was way better then the Sam/Teal'c/Jacob/Bratac storyline with the Supersoldiers (who I thought were a bad version of Storm Troopers ). If you want me to come on here and tell you how the episodes are in season 10 and 3 just tell me and I will or if not that's no problem also

I totally agree with the Sam / Jack situation. If they had just married either one off or let Jack retire so they could get together it would have been so much better. I would love to know if it is really true that two officers can't marry each other - I am pretty sure they can in the Royal Airforce That is a longer time then me But don't forget we will probably see the complete season before you (sorry couldn't resist a smug smilie). I seem to remember that you get loads of repeats ie maybe only one new episode every two weeks sometimes. Don't they suspend things as well for that ratings sweep thing? Luckily as this is shown on Sky nothing stops it (if it was the BBC nothing would stop it other than Football, Snooker, Tennis, Darts etc ) If you want me to come on here and tell you how the episodes are in season 10 and 3 just tell me and I will or if not that's no problem also Far be it from me to stifle a creative writer. If you think you will explode and suffer severe emotional trauma unless you share all the gossip then go ahead Pleeeaaase Oh and for the record I am not overly enthused by Jack going to Atlantis. When he first dropped out I thought the show was finished but as you say I don't really miss him now.
