I am hoping that Sci Fi is listening to all the negative feedback about a six month hiatus and change their minds but only time will tell

I just finished watching Stargate Atlantis and I am ready to give you my weekly report on both shows. We had a really big Yard Sale this weekend so I barely had time to watch SG1 on Saturday and I finally got to finish Atlantis today. I hate Yard Sales because their is to way to much work involved for so little gain

Well onto more happier and exciting things

I didn't think SG1 could do it three weeks in a row for me but they did. I have to say again WOW this was an amazing episode and now I can't decide which one I like more, this weeks or last weeks it's a toss up

The episode was called
"The Pegasus Project"It starts out with Mitchell, Vala and Daniel in the mess hall on the Odyssey, Daniel is sleeping at the table due to staying up all night from excitement about finally getting to go to Atlantis. The poor guy has been trying forever and now he finally has his wish coming true ;DI loved when Mitchell took a leaf like thing to his ear and said "Good morning sunshine"

so he could wake up in time to see the Odyssey approach Atlantis.
When they finally get to Atlantis they are in the briefing room with Rodney, Weir and Sheppard. Sam is showing them their plan on taking a Stargate to a Black hole in the Pegasus Galaxy and shooting nuclear warheads through the blackhole into the Supergate in the Milky Way Galaxy that will hopefully cause the Ori Stargate to establish a continuous Wormhole from the Pegasus Galaxy and that will prevent anymore Ori ships to come to the Milky Way Galaxy. Rodney gets to go along on the Odyssey with Sam and Mitchell while Daniel and Vala stay on Atlantis to find out some information on Merlin's secret weapon that can destroy ancients. I just loved Rodney in this episode but I am not sure I like how he was treated a few times in it, but David did a great job anyway

The joke with the lemon was hilarious however

Meanwhile back at Atlantis Daniel got to talk to an ancient names Morgan le Fay who gave him two Gate addresses he needed to help them find were Merlin may have hid his secret weapon. Vala was great with Daniel and I laughed when she asked him if they could basically look for some loot on Atlantis first before they got to work, her and Daniel make a really great team. I loved how he finally let the Ancients know how he felt about their non interference rules especially concerning the Ori.
Rodney and Sam do finally manage to get a wormhole established by blowing up a Wraith ship but my question is this...Now that they have a continuous Wormhole from the Pegasus Galaxy to the Milky Way Galaxy because the gate they put at the blackhole is also working now, How do they prevent the Wraith from finding it and going through? I guess this maybe something the writers didn't care to dwell on or I am just a nitpicker about certain details
I do love that Daniel finally got to go to Atlantis after trying for the last 2 years and I love it that he got to talk to an Ancient that actually remembered him when he was ascended

It was a really great episode and their are so many lines I love in this episode that I will remember

Daniel: (In regards to a hologram he was getting information from on Atlantis)" I think I had her in the fifth grade"
Sheppard: (About Rodney interrupting Sam during the meeting): "If he speaks again I will shoot him"
McKay: (after interrupting again)" Don't shoot me you know I can't help myself"

Miitchell's Danny's Disneyland comment in regards to Daniel in Atlantis

All in all a really great episode and twice as fun with both Daniel and Rodney in it

Now onto Stargate Atlantis
I have to say that this episode while fun was also not as good as SG1's episode again for the third week in a row. I loved Rodney and Sheppard in this one but when do I not love McKay

It starts off with the tema trying to find enough Gates in space around abandoned planets so they can collect them and make a line up of gates from the Pegasus Galaxy to the Milky Way Galaxy. They run across a village on the planet were everyone basically worships one of the villagers named Lucius Lavin.
You later find out after Beckett bring Lucius to Atlantis that he takes a special herb that makes everyone fall for him and do everything he says. McKay and Sheppard don't get affected with the rest of the Atlanteans because they were out looking for some gates they could use for their plan. When they return they see everyone acting strange and falling at their feet to worship Lucius. Sheppard gets Rodney to test a vile that Rodney found in Lucius room to find out if that is the cause of everyone's strange behavior. When Rodney tells him he needs a little more to sample since the vile didn't have enough Sheppard decides to go back to the village that Lucius came from to get some. When he gets at the village he see's that the villager's are all sick since Lucius left them but when he returns to Atlantis he see's that McKay is now also infected with whatever is affecting the others.
He later kidnaps Beckett and takes him to the Mainland so he can get him away from Lucius and whatever is affecting him to act the way he is. They do eventually find the cure and get rid of Lucius but you have to see the episode to see how wacky they act when he is around especially McKay and Beckett
I did love the end however when Sheppard was picking on Beckett and Weir on their worshipping of Lucius

but the best part was when he took off stating he had to clean Rodneys room before their next mission. Rodney admits to taking a tiny bit of the herb and that's why Sheppard is going to clean his room

It was very funny
Again this epsiode was good but I am hoping to eventually get an episode that really stands out like last years episodes "Grace Under Pressure", "Trinity", "Duet", "Aurora", "The Lost Boys", "The Hive" "Coup D'etat" . Thank goodness this is only the third episode in and that their is 17 more to go to get their
