LOST RUMORS AND CONNECTIONS FANSITE

Well everyone, I am starting a new Lost fan site. The entire site will be dedicated to pointing out connections between the castaways and members of their past, along with the castaways and things on the island (such as the book in last weeks episode and what it could possibly mean....see the Lost thread in the TV section to see what I am talking about)

www.lost-connections.com is the site, go there now and there is NOTHING, but by Friday of next week, I hope to have a skeleton site up and running, but I need your help! I know there are a lot of Lost fans on the forum. Well, I am going to be rewatching all the season 1 and 2 episodes and looking for any connections between castaways, and their flashbacks (like for instance, Kate's mother encountering Sawyer in a diner, and Sawyer encountering Jack's father in a bar) I am basicly going to be making an episode by episode guide to every little detail and connection that may be overlooked, and I would appreciate it if anyone who would like to submit connections and tidbits of information they picked up on to e-mail me at Bryanjs14@aol.com and tell me, it'll make my job just the slightest bit easier, and it will be one less thing that I will have to look for while rewatching the episodes.

Now I know there are sites like this out there, but hopefully, I can work at making this one of the top notch ones on the web, so again, anything you noticed would be appreciated.

Jack and his dad are both surgeons.     I am sure everyone else picked up on that, too.  I can't wait Brian I must admit I seem to miss a lot fo this stuff so I can't wait to see what you pick up on.  Like I said last week I am not going to do other things while watching Lost anymore I am missing way to many details.

Haha yeah, tonights episode was HUGE, there was one really obvious connection, that I actually had to hit rewind because I did not believe it at first. Front page will HOPEFULLY be up tomorrow actually, then I can get working on the innards of the site.

Haha yeah...I have found that to. It was about 30% of the reason I decided to begin my own site. I have been out of town with family so it has been hard to work on it, but I have been watching 2 episodes a day taking notes of things that will be on the site. Hopefully it will be easy to navagate...I am going to have small circular pictures of all of the main cast, and when you click on them it'll basicly be a tree of connections between them and other cast members along with the episode numbers that it happened in and what not. I am pretty sure someone on the Lost forum has a thread similar to what I am doing on the site, but mine will hopefully be much nicer to look at

Well, basicly layout is up for the site, now it is just a matter of putting together all of my notes, and then searching some sites for anything I missed.

Check out the site PLEASE and let me know if you like the design or if you think there is anything I should change. Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated. I expect to have all of the character bios up by Wednesday evening, and then HOPEFULLY by Sunday, you will begin to see some "connections" hitting the site.

So basically when you click on a character all the connections to other characters will show up?  Sounds like an interesting idea.  I'll wait until you upload your data, then I'll search my brain for anything else.  Should you have Desmond as a character, or will he just be a Jack connection?

he will just be a Jack connection, I have stuck to the main castaways, or rather, the flight 815 castaways.
Yep, basicly you will click on the character, and you will get a Bio along with any connections to other characters.
I am also putting a lot of time into finding every single reference to the numbers, there are actually a LOT more than I thought.

Hurley's boss at the chicken shop was Randy (in flash back ep 2.4); this same Randy was Lockes boss at the box company (flashback ep 1.4); Hurley used his winnings to buy a box company. In other words, he has employed his old boss! 

(I think its Randy...I was a bit sleepy when i heard this on the radio at 6.30am)

I have most every one now I think, it is just a matter of putting them onto the site. I am rewatching EVERY episode and making a comprehensive Numbers page. They appear in ever episode, even the ones before they are really introduced.
