Sorry to disappoint Julie, but I'm a "she" - the Orlando Bloom theme would be a bit worrying otherwise Warren is indeed "da bomb", as Jackie would say

How early did you have to get in line for that one? Beauties, all of them. There weren't any queues when they were done. The sketch cards, mine and RupT's, were done around 4:30pm on Sunday (the last day) and only because Allison convinced Adam to do them. The show was winding down and people were beginning to pack up. WOW! That's a great thing to have happen...very jealous!!!

Thanks! I was truly stunned to receive it. I stared at the envelope and customs form, trying to figure out what card I'd bought from a seller in Portugal. It's funny, because Jules told me about Soni's three Sirius sketches on eBay and I checked out Soni's post about them on Scoundrel. I fell in love with "The Godfather," but she wrote in the post that it wasn't available. I had no clue it was winging its way to me! I'd thought about editing my avatar to add that image, but decided against it because it's a pain in the caboose to do so.

Weird how it works isn't it!? LOL I thought of you each time I saw those Sirius auctions Cindy, but I reckon the one you've just received is the best of the bunch! Go and get it re-sized so you can show it off as your avatar girl!!

oooh, more lovely cards! Those are teriffic you two! I saw Katie Cook and Allison Sohn at Comic Con. Katie drew my kids a couple of crayon drawings and I bought a sketchbook from her. She drew Starbuck on it for me, and guess what? The Hellboy with cats she drew me is one of the featured sketchbook drawings! Cool. I got Allison to draw me a Eowyn at the show and it looks SO GOOD. Very much like the Eowyn I was hoping to pull from one of the LOTR sets, but in pencil. I'll post scans tomorow.

Here's a Soni sketch cards I HAD TO HAVE!!!...won it on Ebay and had to manuever my way past some great UK collectors that have been swooping down on her work... It really is a magnificient landscape on it's own...but this scene from the Fellowship is so pure and innocent, and conveys such a wonderous sense of Hobbiton and Bilbo's party and just is so magical... ...and Soni did all that in 8.75 square inches of cardboard...

Wow! They're all good, but I love the Dumbledore sketch. Soni really captured the character. Does anyone know if Darla is taking commissions again?
