I'll be there and be set up! I'm hoping to have a decent inventory of cards to sell, as I can't get that many done while helping out with my boyfriends table (my full-time job).  If anyone wants something specific, let me know and I'll be glad to do it here at home and bring it with me to the con!

I'll be looking you up on artist alley!
Here's one of the pieces I'll be getting Jamie Bamber to sign.  Look closely.  Grin  I wish I could say it was my idea, but I saw another one that some guy had posted online.

Here we go!  Please indulge me on this long post.  My husband, parents and 99.9% of my friends have no idea why I like this stuff.  Undecided  I took my 7 year old daughter Jordan and we went for a couple hours on Friday and all day Saturday.  In addition to the celebrities, I also got to meet the wonderful and talented Allison Sohn, and the also wonderful and talented Mike Duron.  Sketch card scans will be posted soon.  Grin  Jordan and I also did a paint and take mini sculpture thing that was offered in the anime section.  That was fun.  Smiley
Here's a bunch of superheroes in the lobby.  Who is the guy doing the split?  Wonderman?

About 1/2 of MegaCon from above.

We weren't allowed to take any pictures of Mary McDonnall (Pres. Roslin from BSG), so here's a picture of her.  ROFL!  She was very nice and looked GREAT!  Just like how she looks on TV.

My favorite hobbit, Sean Astin!  He was so cool.  I LOVE HIM!  Now I wish I had made a Samwise pony.

Cutie!  Kiss

An Ent!  This guy was huge.  He was walking on short stilts.

Me in a half smile  Roll Eyes and Jamie Bamber (Apollo from BSG).  He was terrific and talked to my daughter and me while he signed.  He said the photoshopped picture I had him sign was brilliant and he kept holding it up and looking at it!  I didn't realize I grabbed him around the waist like that!  Evil

Here you go Capt. Jack fans!

Me and Darth Vader!  He was huge!  He had the altered voice and all.

Here's the guy that was inside the robot from Lost In Space.  I can't remember his name.  Undecided

Here's what Jordan wanted to watch all day.  It's a battling arena where people could fight with foam swords and stuff.  I bought her a sword, but she wouldn't fight me in the arena.  Smiley

Lou Ferrigno signing my Hulk pony!  Grin  How old is he now, pushing 60 or more?  He looked great and his bicepts are still super huge!  I asked him to sign in silver, but he didn't hear me (cause he's deaf  Wink ) and he signed in blue.  But that's ok, it still looks good.

So that's it!  We saw lot's more stuff, but I don't want to get boring with the details.  Wink

Excellent!! EXCELLENT!!  Grin Grin Grin
Fab pictures Kelly and thanks for sharing them!!  Grin Grin Grin
Looks like you NEED to make a Samwise pony to take along to the next event Sean's scheduled to appear at - or a Bill-with-One Ring-MLP as Roz suggested - could you imagine the look on his face seeing that and being asked to sign it for you!!!  Roll Eyes ROFL! ROFL! ROFL!
Or how about all the Fellowship done as MLP's!?  Shocked Grin

Don't worry about others not understanding the fascination you have for this stuff either - it's what keeps the brain young and active that counts isn't it?! Wink Grin

Sean Astin is wearing the EXACT SAME shirt I am wearing that this moment.
Glad you had a good time! Shame we could not get anything worked out for FX or this one lol.

Yes, I'll be at SDCC, and this time all by my lonesome.  Undecided  I'll leave hubby and kids at the hotel so they can do other stuff.  I would like to meet as many Yak Shackers as possible!
