OK guys well we've been amazingly quiet on this topic this year... unlike the national (and international?) press.
After the whole Jade Goodie racism thing broke out I watched an episode and realised that it wasn't racist, it was all 100% down to Jade being a bully and lacking any sort of intellect... it's a shame but true.
Did anyone watch the whole thing? Or some of it? What did you think?
The whole BB concept is losing popularity... consider this fact that I stole from satirical magazine 'private eye'. After the racism incident a whopping 3.6 million viewers tuned into Big Brother to see what the fuss was about (the whole whopping thing was sarcasm.... 3.6m is tiny even by UK standards). This compares to a program that BBC2 were running at the same time called 'grow your own veg' which attracted an amusing 3.8m viewers

(...and when I found this out I thought "what did I bother with big brother for that night? I'd have much prefered the veg growing program).
Anyway, despite what she went through, the winner (Shilpa?) has had her visa extended (I'm not sure she'd have had it without all this fuss) and she's been welcomed into Britain with open arms

- every story has a silver lining after all
