Thanks for my Publisher's Weekly email I had an early look at some publicity for Book 7...
-----------
'Deathly' Gets a Record Printing
Scholastic announced this morning that it has ordered a 12-million copy first printing for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which is scheduled to go on sale July 21. The announced printing tops the 10.8-million first printing Scholastic did for the last Potter book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

To help build Potter mania, Scholastic also released highlights of what it says will be a multimillion-dollar market campaign built around the theme "There Will Soon Be 7." The promotion will kick off on April 17 with several online initiatives. On June 2, a Potter-inspired Knight bus tour will begin from New York City and visit 40 libraries in 10 cities across the country. At each stop, Scholastic will video fans' thoughts on the Potter series and run clips of the interviews on its Web site.

Retail promotions include sending "There Will Soon Be 7" tabletop easelbacks and bookmarks that will feature one of seven questions from Scholastic's seven-question contest to store and libraries. Close to publication date, the company will also distribute temporary tattoos that can be used as giveaways.

Don't forget to visit the Scholastic site - http://www.scholastic.com/harrypotter/

Their THERE WILL SOON BE 7  Promotion "Begins April 17 when we roll out the first of the 7 biggest questions relating to J.K. Rowling’s last Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We will be asking fans to visit the Shrieking Shack to vote for their favorite answer to these questions, as well as the Discussion Chamber message boards, where they’ll have the chance to discuss the questions with fellow fans.

But that’s not all! Look for daily polls, downloadables, printables and more coming this April and a Knight Bus touring your way this summer! And it’s all right here on www.scholastic.com/harrypotter - keep checking back for more!"
