...and 4-5 years of self-taught Japanese. I started doing translations for comics (manga) and anime when I was 14-15 and ended up as a freelance translator Roll Eyes.

How wonderful! I am a huge anime fan, anything Studio Ghibli plus a few bits and pieces I've enjoyed along the way. In Cambridge each year they have a film festival and quite often they have the UK premiere of the Ghibli film. Not the Disney subbed version (yeuk), I'm hoping that they'll have Gedo Senki this year. I'm also eagerly awaiting the next Fruits Basket issue Smiley
