I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy final Harry Potter read.  I still can't quite believe we are already up to book seven but whatever the outcome I hope all the Shacks HP fans savour every last minute of this big occasion.

Enjoy  Grin Grin Grin

Happy reading to you, too!  Are you getting your book tonight or waiting until morning?  Mine will be delivered tomorrow afternoon, after I come home from seeing OOTP. Smiley

Happy reading everyone, as some people might know I work in Woolworths and we got our stock on Thursday! It's been so hard not opening a box and starting reading it  ROFL!

Then tonight I got to open all the boxes and fill the stands for tomorrow, but still didn't have time to open it up and have a quick read.
I'll be getting my copy after work tomorrow!  Grin

Well the vagaries of the British postal service notwithstanding, I should have my copy in the mail tomorrow morning.  I'm hoping it rains tomorrow as I'm scheduled to visit the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park in Cheshire and I REALLY don't want to go!  Must read Potter, must read Potter...............

Of course i will be picking up a book version at the same time.

Right I went out to watch and observe

and tescos was not the highest price

Tesco £10 (£5 if you spent £50 in store so I have just done my shopping too and paid just £5 I had to do it anyway)

Waterstones £8.99

WH Smiths £10.99

and waterstones and WH smiths wanted full RRP of £75 for the book on CD I passed you can get it on line for half that price

There were very few people dressed up and the best bit was the fire Juggler outside waterstones

as for the queues there were loads and loads of people queueing to pay £10.99 at whsmiths when just around the corner at tesco there was no queue and it was 99p cheaper

A note of caution for those expecting copies by post (UK), I work for Royal Mail and I've just finished the night shift. Unfortunately there have been delays due to the flooding that occurred yesterday.

Mine arrived in the mail this morning.  I had a feeling it may not come at all as I couldn't remember if I'd elected to have free postage with Amazon.  I also had a peculiar dream last night that the parcel arrived but the it was empty and I was running around a large department store trying to find my copy.  Why I would think the missing book would be in a department store I have no idea but that's how my mind works...

I was at the store at 9AM after previously calling & finding out they were NOT opening early.  I was a little peeved when I was behind at least 30 people already in line in the store with book in hand.  Took about 10 minutes to get checked out which was fine.  Finished it at 3PM Smiley

I've been greeting everyone I've called or who has called me with "Happy Harry Potter Day"  Cheesy
