Thanks for officially confirming this information for me

I think it boils down to economics and also quality subject matter. Robert expressed some concern that Season 3 had fewer quality guest stars and thus the autograph lineup would have been weaker.
I understand that money has to be saved since the previous season cards only sold moderately. It is just a little sad for me because as I stated in the previous post I was looking forward to one more set without Amanda Tapping/Sam Carter in them.
As for the quality of guests in season 3, I will just have to disagree since we got some rather nice guests like the following:
1. Richard Kind (Lucius Lavin)
2. David Ogden Stiers (Oberoth)
3. Richard Dean Anderson (General Jack O' Neill + we got smart Jack so that was a bonus for me

)
4. Alan Ruck (Dr. Fletcher)
5. John O' Callaghan (Niam)
6. Kate Hewlett-
WHO I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO SIGN A SET OF CARDS AS MUCH AS HER BROTHER (Jeannie Miller)
7. Megan Leitch (Helia)
8. Robert Picardo (Woolsey)
9. Mitch Pileggi (Caldwell)
10. Chuck Campbell (the new technician)
11. Brenda James (Katie Brown)
12. Lindsey Collins (Dr. Biro)
... and of course my dream signer David Hewlett (Rodney McKay)

On a brighter note, expect Season 10 of SG-1 first quarter of 2008.
I always look forward to new sets for either of these shows.

The season 10 set will be even more exciting considering it was the shows final season
