I know it's still a while but has anyone gotten their tickets or hotel reservations yet for Comic Con 08. Julie and I got our tickets while we were there and I was able to make our room reservations already at Springhill Suites. We got a suite with a Jacuzzi for $139.00 a night . After being on our feet all day that is going to be so nice and the free breakfast buffet doesn't hurt either.

I would love to, but I can't find any hotels within walking distance that will take my Hilton points.    I'm going to try the new Hilton that opens for reservations in November and see what happens.

Yep I will be going again next year just having difficulty getting the same Hotel at the moment so hopefully they will release more rooms soon.

I'll be there for '08 (my fifth year) and the con usually has a release date for the blocks of hotels rooms booked by the con.  Try their website for more info, http://www.comic-con.org/

They've still got the listings for this year. If memory serves, the rooms available will be shown much closer to the event. The hotel I stayed in couldn't take my booking as they only had the facility to book 11 months in advance

you're absolutely correct Bogleg.  They (SDCC) will post a room release date and then it will be first come first serve for rooms.  I'll post an update as I receive more info.

Beware people. I am aiming to be there again this year (funds allowing) and there will be no mercy this year. Children and older attendees will be tossed to one side for that all importent "exclusive"  If it's my turn for the breakfast, look forward to nothing more than a shared cold Big Mac at the Artbox stand.

I would love to go again this year, but if I do it'll be a last minute thing.  Who knows, it could happen!

I see Gigi Edgley from Farscape is gonna be there..  she is so great.
How come when you go onto the site there is no mention of Harry Potter?   

(   finally got to use that smiley - okay I know it isnt ebay)
