Hi I'm new and I'm just building up my Harry Potter trading cards. At the minute I'm getting base sets, chase and box toppers. At the munite I've just been buying on ebay as my local shops don't sell packs or anything. I was wondering if anyone could help me with where to buy boxes and perhaps even cases? Many thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Hi, Angel and welcome to the forum!  Collecting is very addictive, but loads of fun!  I haven't bought cases in a while, so I'll let someone else steer you to the right places.  I only collect a few special insert cards from each set now, so I always get mine off ebay or private trades.  Make sure you check out the price guide for a quick idea of individual card prices.  Keep in mind that it's just a guide, but it helps quite a bit.  Welcome!

Hi Angel - welcome to HP collecting and the forum.  I'm a relatively new collector too and new to this forum.  It's an incredible resource and the members are awesome.  Very supportive and helpful.  I mostly buy off of eBay but have recently purchased cards/boxes from local dealers (depending where you live).  Kelly is right, card collecting is very addictive and fun  Grin

There is also a price guide here which is helpful (gives you price averages and even price trends).  The individual forums (broken down my set and areas of interest) have very helpful information and advice (not to mention some fellow shackers have posted pics of their new cards, rare finds, etc).  Have fun.

Hi Angel, welcome to the Shack  Grin.  For boxes and cases it really depends where you are based.  Are you in the UK, US etc?

Welcome to one of the worst places to find cases  ROFL! ROFL!.  Well that is not quite true, but nearly  Wink.  There are a few dealers that have HP cases in the UK, in fact Gimli is now taking pre-orders for OotPU and I can highly recommend him  Smiley.  The other option is buying direct from the USA where the prices (depending on the exchange rate) is sometimes less.  However you have to factor in very expensive postage charges and import duty that is nothing short of daylight robbery, but don't get me started on that  Hopping Mad.
