I just bought the Noble Collection's Sorcerer's Stone replica and I'm trying to determine whether or not the real prop was painted.  Anyone have any good photos of chips?

I have the prop card from Artbox and the piece I have isn't.  Is your replica painted?  It doesn't look like it's painted in the pictures from the Noble catalog.  Post a pic of yours if you can.

I didn't think it looked painted in the catalog either, but I learned that Noble Collection sometimes makes their items look a bit different in the catalog. I got Harry's wand and in the catalog it looks very much twig like. In person, it is much smoother. I actually called them when I got it to make sure it was the same wand as shown in the catalog.

If it is painted, how does it looks?

The chips in the PROP card are small and mounted on white paper. Perhaps the white paper showing through the chip may
have an effect on the color. But, it does look distinctly pink on the card.
