This set looks pretty interesting especially now that Topps has confirmed that there are Spielberg, Lucas, and Harrison Ford autos for the set (and there are also sketch cards).  The release date is scheduled for late February 2008.

Ha. I think that last time Topps did this they had to take the bubblegum out of the UK packs because there was some banned substance in it under EU law... but there haven't been any reports of US trading card collectors keeling over left, right and centre so it can't have been THAT bad!

It was the greatest thing when I was a kid but, at the time, I didn't know any better either  Wink  Funny that I (embarrassingly) use to collect the sticks (the stupid things that kids do).  I remember them being hard enough to chip teeth  Smiley

ROFL!

Well, we had garbage pail kids and that gum 'back in the day' (What was all that about?) so I remember it from then.

I think I must have bought a box or two of SWH from Tom as I did have a couple of US boxes... I think it was much changed - it was whole card sized and sugar free so quite different from the good old days.

Don't worry SFMuggle, I did equally silly things although I can't think of one offhand but I really did, so don't fret!

The seller has lowered the BIN from $20,000 to a measly $11,999, and had decline six offers so far.  Someone sold a Spielberg auto for $4,600 with a Best Offer.
