My dad watches CSI (Miami I think, the one with the posey bloke with the shades has a historical name oh dear I'm vague  Roll Eyes) Anyway the other week he was watching it off the recorder and right at the end they told him the second part would be in 'Without A Trace' on a completely different channel. This was no good as it had been recorded so the other one had long gone.

Did anyone see the CSI/Without a Trace crossover? Can you tell my poor dad what happend Praying

The crossover episode was with CSI Las Vegas.  It's called "Where & Why."  IMDB has two recaps:

In the continuation of a story started on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," Jack Malone and Gil Grissom tail their suspected murderer. He has by now been identified as Terry Wicker who killed his ex-wife in Las Vegas and took his son. Wicker returns to New York and the FBI uses his sister as a way to flush him out into the open. Having killed so many times before, the police desperately want to get to the child before his father gets the urge to kill again.

When the death of a child and woman come up, Malone is called to confirm if the boy is a child who was kidnapped and has been missing for 6 years. While investigating this they find out much more. It's revealed that the man who took the child had killed him. The man has been looking for his son all this time and had been committing murders along the way. The man finds and kidnaps his son and Malone and Grisom work together to find them.
