Thanks for posting info Angels.  I was beginning to wonder if they're planning anything for the upcoming movie.

Too true - I wouldn't care if Duchovny signed bits of toilet paper after all the pain of trying to get him to sign for the previous 6 sets ROFL!

haha, funny.  Duchovny's auto will definitely be sought after  Wink  I guess actors/actresses are beginning to realize that they need to support these sort of products in order to generate more interest for their movies.

I guess actors/actresses are beginning to realize that they need to support these sort of products in order to generate more interest for their movies.
Or Inkworks  decided to pay him a bit more for the signings than they were willing to before.

Some actors are willing to sign for less than others. It gets to be a problem if you have to weigh whether you can give good coverage of signers only by "overdoing it" to purchase one name. And for the next set, other people will say "so-and-so got this much for signing, so I want more too."

The Topps approach, for example, is to pay big bucks for a Ford or a Spielberg and issue less than 10 of each. Inkworks is one company that hasn't chosen to go the ultra-ultra-rare route.

You see entire sets that are never released because a company felt they wouldn't sell well if they couldn't get the top star to sign for the set, for what they were willing to pay. Business negotiations aren't always simple.  Lips Sealed

Good points Allender.  Then you have some people who don't want to sign at all (regardless of money).  Well I'm looking forward to Mulder's auto all the same  Grin

I heard (from usually unreliable source) that there may be a dual auto.  Though unreliable I thought I'd run it pass you folks and see if there's more info. Any truth to this?

A good rumour, though whether it is true I have no idea - Scully's auto from Season 9 looked suspiciously like it was planned and printed to be a dual auto (though it was our very own Ferdinand The Yak who planted that seed in my mind Smiley)

I'm not too certain how much I'll buy but feel the same as you (may have to put on that fifth mortgage on the house, haha).  No doubt the double auto will be very very expensive.

That's odd if it's not due to release til next week but they may be pre-selling their 10 case incentive.
