After the final film has finished what will happen to the card sets?
If they continue will they just be like mm or world of 3d?

Artbox will produce a variety of retrospective sets until it runs out of costumes and props for inserts.  If you go to the Rittenhouse and Inkworks websites and look at the lists for Star Trek and Buffy, that's probably a good indication of what Artbox will do.  We might see individual sets based on each major character, a villians set, a sketch set, and more.  The company might also produce small sets of premium cards, similar to the costume and Death Eater mask sets it's made for SDCC.  We'll definitely see more 3D and MM sets -- I hope they wait until after DH2 is released before we see those sets again, though. That's the link. Smiley  As to how many sets Artbox will release, the answer is probably as many as it can. Roll Eyes  In 2007, we had 3D Series 1, OOTP, and OOTPU, plus SDCC exclusives.  This year, there would have been two full sets if HBP hadn't been delayed.  I wouldn't be surprised to see a filler set by the end of this year or the beginning of the next.

HP is Artbox's most successful and biggest license.  They have 24, but it's not as popular as HP.  I honestly don't know how it stays in business without any other big licenses.

I agree with Cindy that Artbox will likely follow the route of other card manufacturers.  I heard a rumor that they may release MM2 this year.  Yeah they do have 24 and a few other minor products, but HP is definitely their breadwinner.  Artbox is actually owned by a larger company w/ some deep pockets.

I heard a rumor that they may release MM2 this year.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  MM covered the first four movies.  MM2 shouldn't be produced until after Deathly Hallows 2, and then it could cover the last four movies.  We don't need retrospective sets after every single movie! Hopping Mad

Artbox is owned by Ensky Co., Ltd.  You can find more info here:

It's only a rumor  Tongue but they need to do something for revenue (sigh).  I wholeheartedly agree w/ your sentiment but have the feeling that they're going to release something HP related this year.  Thanks for the link to Artbox  Wink

Artbox will probably release something to commorate the 10th anniversary of the publishing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
