Post your Halloween pictures here!

These are the pumpkins that are still lit outside:

Boo Kitty

Sorcerer's Apprentice

This one broke my favorite pumpkin saw and took close to eight hours from the time I started gutting it to the time I stopped carving.

WOW!!!  Shocked Shocked Those pumpkins look amazing!  Shocked  How in the world did you carve Mickey's eye's and not have them break?

Thanks! Cheesy The insides of Mickey's eyes were the first parts I carved.  They definitely would have broken off if they were carved after the face was done.  I brought the pumpkins inside so we could enjoy them before the kids went to bed.  I was sooooo sad to see that they were all ready starting to shrivel and curl, and parts of the masts and sails on the ship are drooping. Cry The next time I decide to do a difficult pattern, it will be on an artificial pumpkin.  It's just too much work to have it last for less than 24 hours.

I'm not being rude or anything but are your pumpkins in the US a different variety to ours or do you all have super strength and totally killer knives?

I've always been delighted if I can achieve 2 relatively straight eyes, a triangle for a nose and sharp teeth, but you all seem to be super-talented, patient and just all-round marvelous at Halloween Smiley

Nice one... (she says jealously!)
