Anyone else venturing there?
There will be a "meet" at 1.00pm on Saturday in the stage area. This has been organised by Harris Toser, publisher of Non-Sports Update. Hopefully, Allan Caplin, CEO of Inkworks cards will be there as well. A chance to put faces to names, trade and revel in our particular corner of geekdom  Grin

Well, it was the best show in years, dispite my worries about the new organisers. For renewing my NSU subscription, I got a pack of promos:

Twilight P1
Twilight P-PS
The Spirit P1
The Spirit P-PS
Supernatural season 3 P-PS
Doctor Who (Inkworks) P-PS

As if that wasn't good enough, at the Card Talk meeting, every attendee got a random pack of promos (below) and a pack of Twilight promos that were available at San Diego this year.

Star Trek Movies in Motion - P1 Khan Lenticular
Doctor Who P1
Alias season 4 P1
Supernatural season 2 P-FE
Supernatural season 3 P1
Americana (Donruss) Amanda Beard, Randy Couture, Burt Reynolds
Dexter
Movie posters (Breygent) 6
plus a few odds and sods.

There were also two exclusive cards to the show. The Spirit P-MS on Saturday and Twilight P-MS on Sunday. If anyone wants to trade a Spirit for a Twilight, I've got a spare.

Although a couple of regular card dealers were absent (Where were you, Chris?) there seemed to be more tables with cards. One table was selling all his cards for half marked price. By the time I found him, there was only dust in my wallet, which hurt as he had a ST:TNG season 7 Patrick Stewart for a knocked down £40  Shocked
As I said, a very good show.

It sounds like you had a good time. Smiley  Did you happen to pick up any Christmas presents for a certain sister of yours? Grin
