Has anyone else checked out Stephen Fry's website? (I'm asking everyone but maybe I'm particularly looking at you Jo!)
http://www.stephenfry.com/There's so much on there, I already follow his twitter feed (and yours Jules, so you are in good company) but his blogs and his 'podgrams' really are something else....I would thoroughly recommend them though they are really rather long so you must persevere to see his true genius (anyone who has read Tolkien will be nodding at around this point!!) I haven't dared to look in the forums for fear of becoming addicted to those also.
Fry recorded the audiobooks for JK Rowling here in the UK (for HP, obviously) and though I haven't heard the American audiobooks I just can't imagine anyone could ever read them any better, but if you want a sampler Fry has just released some short stories by Oscar Wilde (his fairytales) and Chekhov (2 of my literary heroes!) on iTunes.
Well worth a look - anyone else a Fry-addict? To Americans he may not be well known, but here he is more famous than Hugh Laurie (who was originally the other half of his double-act). Fry has recently filmed a programme of his travels around America in a London Taxi aiming to improve British perceptions of the American people, some folks might enjoy that, they might even feel indignant that Fry, a Brit has seen more of their country than they have

but he did get to do it at the expense of the BBC so don't feel too bad
