hi guys where i live there isnt any card shops near me apart from worlds apart in liverpool which dont really deal in cards anymore and everywhere i look on ebay theres loads of loose packs but i was wondering is there any dealers about that i can buy from through websites etc that i can trust the packs not to be searched?

I can't think of any dealer website that allows you to buy packs.  You're right, though, to steer clear of eBay auctions for open boxes and loose packs.

yeah I agree b/c some dealers will open boxes, get the inserts, and sell off the remaining unopened packs.  kinda sucks! caveat emptor.

Then again, sometimes you can find an auction for a bulk lot of unopened packs really cheap. A case buyer may have searched for the top inserts and honestly sold off the balance for somebody who had a hankering to open packs to make sets of commons and low inserts. (Sometimes I'm in that mood.) But the selling price for these bulk lots will be a small fraction of what it would have been for a sealed case.

I don't buy unopened boxes from people I don't know or know by reputation, if the series has a selection of one-per-case-or-less high inserts. It's quite common for a case-searcher to open boxes until they strike gold, and then sell off the other boxes. It's the same side of the coin as buying packs from a box that's been "searched."
