I was catching up on my Non-Sports Update reading (last 3 issues) and noticed that Inkworks was advertising sell sheet for Ghost Whisperer Season 1 and 2, which supposedly had a release date on January 2009.  After searching eBay, I couldn't find any Ghost Whisperer cards listed (other than a few promo cards).  Wondering if anyone knows (or heard) who's going to pick up the series.  The Jennifer Love Hewitt (as Melissa Gordon) looks awesome.

Anyway, as always, thanks in advance for information and your collective knowledge  Wink

Inkworks was in the process of producing the set when the company went out of business.  The owner said he had received signed stickers from Jennifer Love Hewitt, but no one knows what's going on with the license.  It's possible that the license is out for bid again.

Bad news I'm afraid. On the Rittenhouse forum site, the owner, Steve Charendoff states that Warners will not be giving any card licences in the future. This means Ghost Whisperer, Smallville and Supernatural amonst others have offically bit the dust.

A couple of years ago, someone at Artbox told me that they were having more difficulty getting HP items for cards (necessitating the use of "material used to create" costume cards).  The HP sketch set fell through because WB wouldn't agree to it.  Now this.  Something is going on at WB.

I don't know about the films, but when Warners joined up with CBS to become the CW Network, less tv related cards seemed to be evident.
Warners and CBS...should have called it The WC  ROFL!

wow! that's really too bad because I'm a fan of Supernatural and Ghost Whisperer (I'll get around to watching Smallville one day).  I wonder why Warner won't do any more licenses.  Too much trouble?  although imho it usually comes down to not enough money.
