Hi folks, this isnt strictly comic related as it involves no coloured pages at all...

I was wondering if anyone knew where to get hold of a few big comic book bags, slightly bigger than the standard comic book tiny size?

Big comic books are available so I'd imagine you could get quality acid free bags for them.. but where??

Any ideas gratefully received... I have tried forbidden planet in Cambridge (online is probably preferable here!)

roz, online might be more prohibitive because of the weight and cost of shipping a trip to the comicstore would be best. there are different sizes of comic book bags: standard or modern age and silver age and golden age. the last two are slightly bigger but only by a cm or so.

if you are in need of bags that fit magazines, they are available too but you need to know the actual magazine size! 8x11 are available and it is good that acid free archival backing boards are available too!!

from the comic collector,

Thanks Dayhiker but this is England, and certainly in Cambridge we don't have a comic book store!

I bought some small bags but they don't say on them that they are acid free - from Forbidden Planet - but after that my only option to find bigger and acid free bags must be on the net.

Can you recommend any brand names?

Hmm... well... any size would do - if you come to memo i'll take them off your hands!

But the larger they are the more uses I'll have for them Wink
