I hope that Roz knows that anybody who reaches 10,000 posts in the forum is obligated to buy a beer for all Yaks and Pirates. (Of course, on the internet, it can be a virtual beer.)
The 9900 threshold has been met, and the bottles of beer on the wall are in countdown mode.
We have to start now if we can come up with a forum rank that's higher than "Supreme Almighty Yak God." Maybe all we can manage is a slight change, to "Supreme Almighty Humble Yak God (Still Searching for Tea)."

Ruh Roh! I shall have to stop posting. Isn't that scary? ARGH! I wonder whether it means I wrote about half the posts on the site...nope, just checked, 89,000 posts but that still leaves me with an embarrassingly large proportion - come on folks, get posting... be my rival! Always searching for tea, how well you know me... in fact... I'm off to make a cup now

An "improved" strain of yak, named Datong yak, was started by crossbreeding between Huanhu yak and wild yak and subsequently developed on the Datong Yak Farm in Qinghai.
Yak butter is the principal export of Tibet.
