I started the work week in a foul mood

(long story) and just when I thought my day couldn't go down any further, it got worse. Fox Broadcasting announced that they are not going to re-new Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles. I love this show (okay okay there were a couple of episodes that weren't great) but I really enjoy the series as a whole.
They (Fox) re-newed Dollhouse but not TSCC? Don't get me wrong, I really like Joss Whedon and Eliza Dushku, and I really tried to give Dollhouse a chance. But ... the series is inconsistent and, for the most part, kind of boring.
I don't understand Fox Broadcasting. Terminator Salvation is releasing (in US) this coming week-end and has given the franchise new life (and $$$$), and they choose to cancel TSCC on the eve of the new movie. Now Fox has a history of doing stupid things - Firefly comes to mind - but this decision to cancel is at a whole different level of stupidity.
Sorry for venting

I just don't get television execs and their thinking. I am hopeful that another network picks up this gem of a series. Maybe CW
