NECA received the Twilight license after Inkworks went out of business.  The company is in the process of reprinting the original Inkworks set, minus the costume cards.  Amazon in the US is taking pre-orders for the base set, binder, and Peter Facinelli/Dr. Carlisle Cullen auto, and for boxes that have no costumes, but do have the same three levels of chase cards that the Inkworks set had.

Base set, binder and auto:

Factory sealed box:

There are eBay sellers who have been pre-selling this set for much higher prices than Amazon is charging.  Since the Inkworks base set generally sells for $50, it will be interesting to see how the NECA set affects the price of the original Inkworks cards.

I think most of the buzz on the base sets hasn't been from card Hobbyists, so those should come down (even if there isn't an extra NECA logo on the reprints). I don't think the costumes will be affected, but also the case-loader card will be reprinted for the NECA release. I couldn't find one before at a price I thought was reasonable.
