So here it is, the new "filler set". I'll go for this set as I did for every set yet. And the prop cards sound interesting. I hope for a lot of more info about the autograph cards.

Artbox probably had no choice about releasing a filler set.  The next movie opens in November and that would have been a long stretch since the last HP release.  Things will get interesting when Deathly Hallows 1 comes in November 2010 and Deathly Hallows 2 in July 2011.  We'll end up with four sets (regular and update) within a year.  Better start saving now!

Did anybody else get a mailer from Artbox today about this set? When I came home, there was a manila envelope with a sell sheet, info sheet, and three promo cards (Harry, Dumbledore and Hagrid) waiting for me.  I can scan the cards if people want to see them.  From the paragraph that was written about them, it made it sound like Toby Jones was the only autograph, so I'm confused.  I'll probably get a couple of boxes, no more. The idea sounds cool, though.

I usually get the mailer too, so maybe I will get it today. I got it for the last few sets, although, Kaye has met me in person a few times, which may be the reason.

I did ask about the Toby auto from my main dealer and was told that there will be others in the set. I too thought it sounded like it would be the only auto, but was told there were more...so we shall see.

I have to admit, I think I really like the looks of these cards! I love the blue color in them. I never made it to my mailbox yesterday, so I will have to go check to see if anything arrived. I am being lazy. Actually, don't feel like finding bills.

Yikes!  Just 6 weeks until release?  Thanks for all the notice Artbox.  Hopping Mad

I imagine we'll get nothing further until AFTER dealer orders are due, like normal.

And I have to ask, where's the originality Artbox?  Rittenhouse has a James Bond Heroes and Villains set coming out the same month. ROFL!

That's alright Ed, I think Rittenhouse and Artbox both stole the idea from this season of Survivor, Heroes vs. Villains.

And, I got my package yesterday with the promos and sell sheet Grin

Got this information from my distributor today...

Quote
HP wil have 5 autos, 10 cosutme cards and 4 props per case this time. + 12 or 18 film card type base cards.

So obviously there will be more than 1 auto.

Not sure what to think about "film card type base cards."

And I hate the 5/10/4 insert ratio because that leaves one lone box in the case with just a costume card.

Standard pricing, so at least this isn't considered some sort of "Premium" set.

Either that or there will be a ton of Dobby autos floating around.  ROFL!

I shouldn't laugh though considering what NECA did with the Twilight set and all the autos they put out for just two people.

I don't like the ratio either, however, it is better than some of their last sets that only had 3 props with 2 boxes per case only having one insert. In fact, I believe Cindy was unlucky enough to get those two boxes from her two box only order. Undecided

Yeah, I had only one high-numbered costume card in each of two boxes of Memorable Moments 1 (a premium set with $75 boxes).  I felt like an absolute chump for being stupid enough to buy the boxes, and no company should want their customers to feel that way.  That was the beginning of my disintegrating interest in HP cards.  I'm not buying any boxes of this set, because my luck with pulls is poor and I don't want to chance getting the box with only one insert.

I honestly don't understand why Artbox can't pack one more insert per case so that every box has two premium cards.  Most of the regular movie sets have nine boxes with two inserts and one box with three inserts.  Look at Rittenhouse.  They pack three and sometimes four inserts in a box.
