I just finished watching this auction for a Cedric Diggory/Robert Pattinson auto. It sold for $1,226.01! There were four bidders who bid more than $500 and the winning bidder was willing to go higher than the ending price. The seller must be jumping for joy. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370532485563So...how many sellers are going to list this card over the next week?

Ending price is all well and good. Getting paid is better.
I find it hard to believe the sale will be completed, but stranger things have happened.

I was thinking the same thing. But, since other birders were involved, there's a good chance a second chance offer would go through.

That's the problem. When you put in the highest bird you can afford, there is always a birder that will bird and bird until the other birders are brushed by the wayside. I'll try to be clearer nest time

If Artbox could give birth, it would be a redemption with the real one arriving 9 months later The Artbox website is so old, Indiana Jones has started looking for it Tutankhamun went on the Artbox website and saw it was out of date

Looks like we have (yet) another Rob Pattinson on eBay right now, in addition to Brenden Gleeson, Shirley Henderson, Gary Oldman, and the Phelps twins. THIS should be quite interesting!

Those Twihards are a dedicated lot. There's an auction running right now that's up to $400 with 20 bids from eight bidders. My 11-year-old daughter informed me that under no circumstances am I to put my auto on eBay. By the way, the winner of the $1226.01 auction left positive feedback for the seller on August 15. That transaction went through pretty quickly! The buyer appears to be a big HP fan, based on his/her bidding history.

WOW! I just never thought I'd see the day where the market would be overran with Rob Pattinson autos. I'll certainly be a monkey's uncle! Now, if only we can get a few more Johnny's out there...Cleese and Hurt from the SS set, I mean. THOSE guys seem to be non-existent. I'll leave that for a different time and a different forum, though.

I'll try to be clearer nest time Thanks for the good laugh. I REALLY needed that. Now, if only we can get a few more Johnny's out there...Cleese and Hurt from the SS set, I mean. THOSE guys seem to be non-existent. I'll leave that for a different time and a different forum, though. Are they really? I have both of them and at one time, had two Hurts. I traded one of my Hurts for the Cleese. Glad I have them now. As for Pattinson, kbmum, the only way you can get rid of that auto card is to send it to me for my birthday. You know you want to!!! I remember when that card first came out. It was going for $60-$75. I thought that was too much for the card and never bought it. Even though I REALLY REALLY wanted it. Oh well, at least I have his auto on the Quad card...and I got to see him in person at a Q&A session at a local mall by me. So, I guess that is better in the end for me anyway.

Well, the newest Rob Pattinson on eBay was sitting at $850.00, before I lost track of it. I was distracted with a GoF Sirius Black, of which I ended up winning for $405.00. Yikes!! Geez, these autos are REALLY getting expensive! At least that was the last one I needed for my GoF auto master set. Maybe someday, I'll look back at this and laugh. Or cry. HAHA! <SNIFF>...
