I wasn't aware that there was a costume card made from Mcgonagalls shoes. Just her robes, I believe.

Hi Rns thanks for replying.
Yes her shoes from POA were sold to unique props who took one and made swatches out of it and sold the the other with wardrobe tag on whole. So theres only one shoe, plus swatches of the other. There is an old post on here about it and if you google mcgonagall shoe fragment you`ll see some info about the auction. But i was hoping someone on here would have a swatch or photos of the shoe and swatches.
Thanks  Smiley

I've been a member of the forum for more than seven years.  I don't recall any conversation about McGonagall's shoes being made into cards by any company.

Hi,
There is an old post on this forum about it thats where i found out about it then i googled it to find out more and see pictures, the shoes were being sold by usa ebay seller unique props and then one of them was made into swatches. If you google the words `mcgonagall shoe fragment` you`ll see the information about the ebay sales on worthpoint and a photograph of the swatch on card,  Smiley
I just wondered if anyone had any pictures of the other swatches and the shoes or remembered where the post on this forum was because i cant remember what i typed in search to find it, wish id saved it now, i do remember that one of the comments on here about it said something like `well they must be genuine because unique props have shares in ......  , i cant really remember the rest but it was a debate on here whether they were real shoes and the verdict was that they were. I just thought someone would remember, lol  Undecided

Here's the thread and I started it!   ROFL!

http://www.theyakshack.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,5321.0.html

There was a debate about authenticity.  The person on the forum who bought the card thought it seemed real.  I searched eBay, but can't find a seller under the name "Unique Props."

Hi,
Ive just found it to,  Wink
I do remember unique props years ago, i used to look in at their auctions and they used to sell props off the set of harry potter films alot, i remember bidding on some dried flowers from COS weasleys house but didnt win, they had alot of feedback at the time all good but like you i cant find them now, they must have closed there account along time back.
Im really curious about the shoes and if anyone ever found out anything about their authenticity or any pictures, seems a bit of a mystery about them doesnt it  Undecided
