How do you store your costume cards safely?

I was wondering how you all prefer to store your costume cards, because around here where i live there are only 2 options that the stores sell which are toploaders or those 4 screw thick card holders, is there a better way to hold costume/prop cards? , because they are rather thick.

I store my valuable cards in a 1 screwdown thick ultra pro holder. I used to have to pay $3 a piece for these at my local card shop but you can find a 25 ct box online card stores for around $12 which isn't bad .50 each.
Or you can get the two piece snap tight ultra pro holders they are just as capable for thick cards and are fairly sturdy as long as they don't fall on the ground or get stepped on. Thick screwdown in the safest for valuable cards.
All others under $15 BV or so I will just put in a pennysleeve inside a top loader. If you use pennysleeves I saw a guy at the cardshop cutting a slit on the side with a scissors and sliding them in that way. Tried it and that works the best for not dinging corners or surfaces when putting them in pennysleeves. (maybe I was to stupid to figure that out and it is a common practice)

We use those nice ultra pro screwdowns for the LOTR ones and they look great but it's hard to know where to put them afterwards.
So all the HP ones are in a single 9 pocket page
they are nice ones tho

so, it's okay for me to store my costume cards in 9 pocket pages? because i just worry about the corners and how much the card may warp or bend in them when they are looked through,

I don't store mine in 9 pocket because they get banged up and can fall out of the binder easily. Of course the problem there is you can't put them in the binder if you don't do the 9 pocket page thing.
Damned if you do damned if you don't!

I haven't ever had the prblem of them falling out of the binder
but just handle them carefully and all should be well.
It's what all card dealers have their precious cards in at fairs after all - it's easy to view and it's mostly safe.
Just be careful with them when putting them in the 9 pocket pages and don't do anything silly with it and they will be fine.

I store all regular cards in 9-pocket pages, slightly more rare or valuable are poly-sleeved and then in 9-pocket. The promo's get poly sleeved and then into a toploader. I am still trying to find the perfect storage for the toplaoder'd cards. Auto's and costume/prop cards get 1-screw or 4-screw screwdowns for both regular thickness and for thicker. Extremely valuable cards get the extra thick 1/2" or 1" screwdowns. I use no snaps. I live in Canada and the one screw versions are only $1.25 Canadian each, at my supplier.

Hmm... don't the Potter costume/prop cards rattle around a bit too much in those ultra pro thick screw down cases?

The HP costume/prop cards are a little thinner than the LOTR costume cards. The amount that they move around is not enough to damage them, save if you shook the screwdown for extended periods of time....this I try to avoid.
