Can anyone tell me what is the diffrence between these and the standard set ??

You have answered tiyr own question... compare the foil from each set side by side and you will see the difference

Ahh, yes I had heard mention that other people hadn't had a full set, but mine was a base card further back in the set - it had McGongal in it... (I am not quite sure which card it was though)
