I'd like to compliment this site as I have found it very informative and friendly. Sadly the Topps message board from which I gained alot of very valuable information/trades is all but dead as the interest in the LOTR series peters out with the erm.. exciting *coughs* ROTKU set all being left (unless they put out a trilogy set or the like)
So thanks to Mark and Roz for such a great site!

Thanks for the kind words  We're trying to make it better all the time, so any suggestions would be welcome. Roz (with my help) is working on a mini site dedicated to the Harry Potter Cards, hopefully with all the relevant info on them so hopefully that will be up soon. Other than that, if you enjoy the site, please do me a little favour and click those two rightmost buttons at the top to vote for my comic! you can vote once a day and the more votes I get the more exposure.... it would help me out no end! |

Hey samwise... selling ALL those hard earned LOTR cards? I'm impressed that you can do it, you'd have to drag me away screaming from mine!  While I love HP, I think that I will hold onto my LOTR cards, after all, if you think about it, there will be 7 series of these HP cards and only 3 of the LOTR ones... |

Ditto - we would never selling FOTR Aragorn, or any of the*almost* complete TTU set (grrr Arwen). Or any that were gifts, or any that we like... ooer that means none will be sold then  |

Well that's the plan - remember I want a TTU full set a lot! Don't we Mark? And we do have that phenomenal Gimli lithograph which we look at more! I'll contact Goofyjas at the weekend and let him know the Gimli is in the post - he's been quiet of late that's all! |

you'll be lucky if i sell my LOTR FOTR cards, just the ROTK i want to get rid of. I just think it was such a poor set, and the only cards i like are the pippin and the witchking auto. So i may keep them. As for the FOTR cards i wont sell unless i get a good offer, one i can't refuse, but i let everybody know i *would* sell/tradethem, but it's doubtful i would unless the right offer came around. 
I know what your saying FtY, all of the auto cards i have now are from when i was 16 - early 17 years old (still 17). So i'm actually proud to have such a wide range of autos for my age and income *cough* income.. i don't know the meaning of the word
I do feel quite sad as it took me alot of work to get the autos i have, and put the stress of this on my mum. She wants me to start learning to drive but i never have the money because i collect these cards, and it stressed her out at the begining, but now she see's it as a hobby i love and something i want to make a living off.

Yeah, there are alot of memories attached to my cards, and with all the excitement of getting them, it would be a let down to let them go so easily. Like alot of people, I tended to collect only one sig/actor with the exception of a FOTR and TT Legolas. As for the FOTR cards I have, I don't think I would ever sell them as they are just beautifully designed and clearly the best cards in the series. I would also keep my TT Eowyn Legolas and Merry as I think Miranda Otto has the one of best sigs of the lot and I will never get a FOTR Merry and anything with Orlando Bloom will only go up in value. As for ROTK, I only have 2 - Pippin and Faramir. I agree that Pip is one of the coolest cards in the set, but in general a poor set as you say. Eh, who am I kidding, I'll never sell any of them! PS. samwise, you didn't mention any TT cards? Did you collect them at all? Or plan to sell/have sold them already?  |

Wow - I think I would only sell my Topps LOTR's Autograph and Costume cards along with my Decipher LOTR's sets & Foils if I was in financial trouble and needed cash to pay for outstanding bills. That would indeed be a very sad day!  |
